Chernarus LITE

Chernarus Lite is a mod project developed by Asmondian, MaercusTargaryen, and the development team of the "Day Zero" server. Both its mappings and dynamic events, as well as its files, are open-source, and anyone can use them on any platform you wish. However, it is prohibited to claim credit or authorship for any of these.

This project aims to offer a dynamic, innovative, and functional alternative to the immensity of Chernarus, rescuing the virtues of smaller maps and complementing them with new (vanilla) elements. In other words, it involves a reduced, dynamic, and redesigned version of Chernarus with new and improved points of interest, quality of life modifications, and a post-apocalyptic atmosphere.

Currently, it is compatible with PC servers, and we are working on adapting it for consoles (PS/XBOX).

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
*Having the mod loaded is not 100% necessary for the proper functioning of the map, but it will improve the chances of your server being discovered in the game's launcher, as well as helping us enormously to spread the project to the entire community. You will find the files inside the mod folder.

1) Copy the "dayzLite.chernarusplus" folder and paste it into the "mpmissions" folder on your server.
2) In your serverDZ.cfg file, replace // template="dayzOffline.chernarusplus" // with // template="dayzLite.chernarusplus" //

3) If your server is for PC, you can load the mappings in two ways. If it is for consoles, you can only use method B:

a) Use the shared .dze file in the EditorFiles folder, loading the "DayZ Editor Loader" mod ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2276010135 ).

b) Load the .json file(s) (still in development) located in the "custom" folder through the cfggameplay.json file.
DO NOT USE BOTH METHODS SIMULTANEOUSLY.

If you followed the steps correctly, the map should now be installed.

Chernarus Lite es un projecto de mod desarrollado por Asmondian, MaercusTargaryen y el equipo de desarrollo del servidor "Dia Zero". Tanto sus mapeos como sus eventos dinámicos y archivos son de fuente abierta y cualquiera puede usarlos. Sin embargo, está prohibido atribuirse el crédito o autoría de cualquiera de estos.

Chernarus Lite intenta ofrecer una alternativa dinámica, novedosa y funcional a la inmensidad del mapa Chernarus, rescatando las virtudes de mapas más pequeños y complementándolo con elementos (vanilla) nuevos. En otras palabras, implica una versión reducida, dinámica y rediseñada de Chernarus, con nuevos y mejores puntos de interés, modificaciones de calidad de vida y ambientación post-apocalíptica.

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN

*Tener el mod cargado no es 100% necesario para el correcto funcionamiento del mapa, pero mejorará las chances de que tu servidor sea descubierto en el launcher del juego, además de ayudarnos enormemente a difundir el proyecto a toda la comunidad. Encontrarás los archivos dentro de la carpeta del mod.

1) Copia la carpeta "dayzLite.chernarusplus" y pegala dentro de la carpeta "mpmissions" de tu servidor.
2) En tu archivo serverDZ.cfg, remplaza // template="dayzOffline.chernarusplus" // por // template="dayzLite.chernarusplus" //
3) Si tu servidor es de PC, puedes cargar los mapeos de dos formas. Si es de consolas, solo podrás usar el método B:
a) Usando el archivo .dze compartido en la carpeta EditorFiles, cargando el mod "DayZ Editor Loader" ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2276010135 ).
b) Cargando el/los archivos .json (aún en desarrollo) que se encuentran en la carpeta "custom" mediante el archivo cfggameplay.json
NO USAR AMBOS MÉTODOS A LA VEZ
4) Si seguiste bien los pasos, el mapa ya debería estar instalado.
