[NCF] - 'Tethys' Class Heavy Cruiser

The new Tethys Class of heavy cruiser represents the modernisation of the Federal Navy and it's ship designs since the end of the Secession War in 2420. With the Trident Class of light cruisers design reaching 64 years old, the engineers of the navy took the class blueprints and began a momentous effort to modernise the design, resulting in the Tethys.

Alongside the new Perseus Class Battleship and Artemis Class Missile Frigate, this ship class will go on to make up the bulk of the Federal Navy once full production begins, allowing the historic Trident design to continue to defend the Federation far into the future.

Hello, and welcome to the workshop page for the Tethys! While underneath, this ship is indeed still the Trident Class, we have reworked and modernised it sufficiently that we believe it deserves it's own upload, while keeping the old Trident class blueprint up as a light cruiser, and making the new version a heavy cruiser. Once again, I hope you enjoy the ship and future NCF builds we plan on releasing!
