Description
Its an M8 Armored Car with an additional M2 HMG that follows the turret. That's it.

You need IFA3.

Yeah, I'm just first dipping my toe into this sort of thing so everything more complicated than attachToRelative seems pretty daunting

I wish I did. There might be a command that gives you the precise position of an object relative to a bone if attached but I have avoided those types of commands like the plague (I think its getPositionRelative or something along those lines).

I've been trying to mimic your method to attach weapons to the turrets of other vehicals but positioning them without attachToRelative is pretty tedious, do you have any tips or short cuts?

Its in the init of the MG but to keep it brief, you can't use AttachToRelative, you have to use AttachTo itself, offsets, and either "OtocVez" or "OtocVelitele"

How do you get attachments to stick to the turret? I had tried just normal attachment on other times I was messing around and founf that the attached item sits still relative to the main body of the vehicle
