DO NOT USE - Cheat Menu

Description

You probably shouldn't use this anymore. For some reason, the edict the menu relies on to work doesn't show up anymore. I will therefore no longer be updating the mod.

Go use FlyingSausage87's cheat interface instead: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3311950726

This mod adds a cheat menu through an Edict, available only to the player, who can use it at any time.
There are menus out there that offer "better" cheats, and you're free to go subscribe to those if you so desire. This menu offers resources only, for the intended "lite" experience. If you want to cheat, but don't want to get gigantic bonuses to everything you do, this mod is for you.

UI Overhaul Dynamic is strongly recommended, but not necessary for this mod.
I created my own custom UI so it should work regardless. It sounds harder than it actually is.

Yes, this mod is compatible with your game version.

Functionality

Currently, the mod's supported resources are:
- Energy Credits
- Minerals
- Food
- Alloys
- Consumer Goods
- Unity (optional)
- Influence
- Exotic Gases
- Rare Crystals
- Volatile Motes
- Zro
- Dark Matter
- Living Metal
- Nanites
- Resource cap (optional)

As well as resources from compatible mods.

You can choose to summon these, except for Influence, in the following amounts:
1500 | 3500 | 8500 | 15000 | 35000

Because Influence caps at 1k (vanilla), it scales differently:
50 | 150 | 300 | 450 | 750

- Most modded resources follow this pattern or deviate only a little due to their resource caps.
If needed, I may add one or more tiers to resource spawning in the future.

Compatibility
The mod should be compatible with anything, but can only spawn resources for supported mods.

Supported mods:
If their resources don't show up in the menu, activate the global flag edict in the edicts menu. In this menu, you can enable global flags for supported mods. After activating these, or one of them, reopen the cheat menu.

Upcoming
  • Functioning buttons for the custom UI. This should get rid of the event delay.
  • Support for more mods.
  • More cheats would be nice to have I guess.

As always, report issues in the comments and suggest mods that I can add to this one.

  • The guys from ! Core Framework & Modmenu. I used a few assets of theirs in this mod.
  • These assets are: the acot and gigastructures modmenu buttons; their blue "option" frame for those buttons, as well as their respective .gfx files.

In the screenshots I had AlphaMod activated.

It should work regardless of version, but I'm no longer maintaining the mod, hence why I added the "Do not use" tag to the title.

Still works for me in 3.13 though I don't use any of the extra mods mentioned above so it might be something with those.

I don't see why not.

Alright but can someone still try to refresh it? Like someone takes the code and updates it?
Shoarmadad  [author] Aug 18, 2024 @ 12:55am
Don't worry. I don't delete old stuff, precisely because people will still use it.
Rogueone Aug 17, 2024 @ 11:04am
It does for me pls dont delete it lmao

The edict doesn't even show up for me anymore. I guess that makes this mod obsolete.

Well the thing is, is that idk if it was crashing if I used it on an old save because when i hit the resume button it crashed immediately. But when I hit play and loaded it on the main menu after launch, it crashes after a few button pushes

Updating is going to be difficult since I lost a good part of the mod. There are still edicts in the game, and the mod is still an edict, so I don't really see a reason to edit a version number.

Idk why it causes my game to crash when i use it on an old save
