UNT Aldhuma

Description
Originally a small scouting vessel used to explore Europa by the first settlers, the Aldhuma has been retrofitted with tougher armor and heavy weaponry.


Features:

-Diving room with a moon pool for easy access (Warning: The sub looses a lot of vertical mobility when the hatch is open, so make sure to close it when moving, you'll know if the hatch is open from the bridge if you see a blinking red indicator.)

-Artifact hold room in the ballast,

-Bridge with rayshielded window to look at the beautiful europan sea in perfect safety, along with a discharge coil if the wildlife gets a bit too close,

-Camera system accessible in the armory/security room, along with an indoor turret located in the diving room,

-Smart flood alarm system,

-Secure lockers for the armory, medbay and captain.

Armament:

-1x Heavy autocannon (Bottom Right),

-1x Heavy railgun (Bottom Center),

-1x Medium SSL turret (Top Right),

-2x Pulse lasers (One bottom left, one top left),

-1x Medium autocannon (Top Left).


Required mods:

-EK Gunnery
-EK Dockyard
-EK Utilities
-EK Armory
-Barodrama diving suits (Not necessary, but replace the suits with the original ones in the editor)
-Sounds of Europa

Can use mine, it's a "little" overpowered but you can nerf it a little in the ship editor. might want to also replace some of the lasers onboard when docked since I've noticed with latest patch it has a habit of putting holes in the ship but a coilgun with laser systems retrofitted in the loader should work as it should've done before full release

I've enjoyed using this sub and I might come back to it and improve it in some spots since I've also been taking the Strumson out for a spin and noticed some of the stuff onboard would go nicely on this sub, as stated by john smith the moon pool could be improved to so the ship doesn't take in water, second i'd say the crafting area could be more compacted with the cases you can craft, as for maximising survival i'll most likely be adding in some fix foam detonators at the front and mid section of the sub which should help in those hard to reach places. but again nice place to start growing crops is in the moon pool section since it's quite nicely tucked away in the corner

Ah, also: the sub moves at 60 km/h, you need to change the Engine's power a lot.
This sub is a lot of fun nontheless, and my time passed in the sub editor to find what was wrong was totally worth it, I have lots of fun with it!

There are some problems with the ducts: you cannot highlight/select them, so if they break, you have to break the walls. It totally bugs bots too.
For the moonpool, you can also use a Xor component to prevent the pump from working when the lever is active, preventing the upstream of water that can trap you for minutes, allowing you to just jump in.
Making the pump in the artifact hold invicible is a must too, since you can't select and thus repair it, so bots keep imprisonning and drowning themselves in there.
