Description
Adds a "Glass Repair Kit" which allows repairing of vehicle windshields and windows.
Vaguely based on the real life windshield repair kit, that allows repairing of small cracks.

Kits spawn in mechanic loot, mostly in stores but can be found more rarely in garages. Requires level 4 mechanic to repair.

Q: Does it work on existing saves?
A: Similarly to most/all item mods, yes, but you will have to loot newly generated containers for you to find them.

Q: Does it still work?
A: This is a small mod that adds one item, it doesn't need to be updated every time the game gets an update. Its quite literally fancy duct tape for a window/windshield packaged as a realistic product. Unless the internal item name for the windshield parts get changed, this will continue to work.

Q: Does it work for modded vehicles?
A: If the modded vehicle uses vanilla windshield parts, yes. Modded vehicles such as the M998 use special parts, so no.

I'm currently away from the scene waiting for B42 to bring back multiplayer. I highly likely won't look into B42 support until then, sorry.

Indeed, this is because without using mod manager and mod manager server (which I highly recommend), the vanilla lists don't use the same identifiers, SP uses localized and MP uses Mod ID.

Heads up, since I thought this was not available for multiplayer:

On SP the mod is named "GlassRepair" and shows up as such in the mod list. But for multiplayer, the mod is named "Vehicle Glass Repair" so make sure you search for that when setting up your servers.

I still keep hoping for the day that support expands, to the extra vanilla vehicles and KI5 mostly.
They're all super popular.

Got back into PZ, thought I'd check up on this finally. Pushed a small update to reduce the required level to 4 and updated the distributions.

Not sure what the issue was with some of the people below, but I can confirm it still works in B41.

Worked both in the vehicle menu and directly on the part.

If you have issues, its likely because you are not level 4 or are using a non vanilla part. If you checked both of those and still have issues, send me the name of the vehicle and part you are having issue with.
