Description
Play as the King of the Vandals and Scourge of God, Gaiseric; in Sid Meier's Civilization VI.

Gaiseric was among the most successful of the Germanic conquerors towards the end of the Roman Empire in the west. Prior to his kingship, the Vandals struggled like many other Germans due to Hun disruption in the Germanic and Sarmatian regions. Gaiseric inherited a devastated army of Germans and Alans in Hispania, he rushed a fleet around Cartagena, and set sail for Rome's North Africa holdings, one of the Empire's breadbaskets. Gaiseric besieged various cities and brokered agreements with the Roman Emperors, this created a Vandal naval tradition of piracy that threatened the whole Mediterranean. Gaiseric is known for (accidently) killing St. Augustine during a siege and sacking Rome after negotiating with Pope Leo. Other Germanic peoples, such as the Anglo-Saxons, viewed the Mediterranean as the "Wendelsae," or "Sea of the Vandals."

You've been asking for Maghrebi civilizations for a while, @InvaderZim/Zam. I already announced that the great drought is here. If it's any consolation, the Roman leaders indicate a pivot into mods focused on the Mediterranean.

this mod is perfect, gives a perfect anti-classic age boom civ in TSL like rome greece or egypt. magnificent, i know ur prob on request 500-something for civilization mod ideas but is there any hope for a minoan-crete civ in the future? or perhaps a desert focused civ like berbers or morocco. thanks bro for making these civs work on True start firaxis maps, legit makes the maps spicy as hell filling in empty voids with playable civs.

Firaxis really dropped the ball on Caesar, @TheChihuahua1. Gaiseric's current trait came out before I got any word about new DLC.
