Merged (collided) Planets
By Captain.Jartyk
A compilation of various colliding planets that I have visited and explored in the NMS universe.
I have found some myself, but most come from various online forums.

I have previously posted parts of the material in the forum, but now that it has grown and become so much, I thought it was time to place it in a Steam guide.

When you visit these places, you will experience some strange phenomena when you are close to the area where the planets come together, it can be risky, and I recommend making a manual save before going through the Portal.

In some cases it happens that the Portal has become unusable due to the collision, in those cases I mention it, and give info about which Portal should be used.

They are arranged in the order I found them, the oldest first.

The title of each indicates which Galaxy the planets are in, and the address in Hex Numbering. A link to Github is also in each post, where you can then see which Glyphs those Hex numbers represent, the Glyph address can also be seen in the screenshots.

Miscellaneous info.
To visit these places you need to find and use a Portal, you must also have all the Glyphs, sometimes you may also need to change Galaxy.
There are probably other guides for those things, but have added some links about the Portals, for those who need more info.

---------------------------------------

To facilitate your management of the Portal addresses, you can use one of these mobile apps.

NMS Assistant.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kurtlourens.no_mans_sky_recipes

NMS Encoder.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.portaladdress.nms

In these you can then also save addresses and make your own library of them, can be handy if you want to revisit a place, because then you have all the data about the portal there then.
No. 1. Euclid #41EBFB002FFA
Here are two lush planets, which have fairly frequent hot storms.
If you want a base near Euclid's core, this may be a good place.
According to the star map, it is 3k to Euclid's core here, and only a warp to the nearest star is needed.

When you land near the point of collision, gravity goes completely crazy, and everything tilts sharply.

This is a pretty nice place to visit.

A lush planet has got a little volcano planet pressed into it.
This place must be visited via a neighboring planet, as the portals are buried inside the planets.

The volcanic planet has frequent firestorms, but they are quite mild, only 110 degrees.
The lush planet is nice, there are a lot of interesting animals, including a species of small bipedal gnomes that run around there.

You can walk between the planets, but there is an invisible level difference, so you fall a little bit when you step over.

Adopted a little funny companion there.

These two planets have not collided, but they are extremely close to each other.

There is a certain effect on gravity where they are closest, much like on airless planets, you can fly quite high with your jetpack.
The wildlife is a bit funny too, something that looks like flying fish, and things that you can sometimes see crawling under the grass.
You can feed the flying fish, and ride or tame them, if you want.

Two new planets, this time a volcanic planet with fairly mild firestorms (only 105 degrees), and a cold and airless abandoned planet, which have ended up a little too close to each other.

On the volcanic planet there are some interesting animals you can study between the storms, including a large dino (4m), which hunts the other animals.

The abandoned planet does not have much to see, but fun with the extremely low gravity there, and the effect near the other planet where the ground becomes almost vertical.

It gets very steep as you approach the other planet.

No. 20. Odyalutai #4205FC557C30
This pair is found in Galaxy 256, Odyalutai.

It is a desert planet that has ended up very close to an anomaly planet, it is not a collision, may be 1000 units between them, difficult to measure.

The effect where they are closest is a bit strange, it seems like gravity from the planets takes each other out, so you weigh almost nothing, a short push with the jet pack, and you get hovering for a long time.

The anomaly planet provides a pretty good atmosphere for the phenomenon, with its spooky sound effects and lack of colors.

How can these be found. I mean, I've visited hundreds of systems at this point, just looking for sentinel interceptors and have yet to see this. Any suggestions?

Thanks, will check that glyph address when I get time.
Collecting new things to add here is low priority for me now though.
But the planets that are already collected are still there, have visited some after patch 4.40
And we'll see if anything pops up during the current expedition.
