Fix broken radio streams in ETS2 and ATS with local re-streaming

Starting with update 1.37 some radio stations went silent in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. This issue has no relation to radio streams itself, it and in-game problem. In this tutorial you can find info how to restore almost all of them and even more.

Intro

Starting with update 1.37 some radio stations went silent both in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator.
The topic was raised at official forums and in Steam's Hub, but judging by the following comment it seems the issue has a high risk of not being fixed ever.
NOTE: the problem is not in radio stream itself, the problem is in updated FMOD sound engine that's used in game.
I didn't want to stay without favorite radios for holidays, and using not in-game audio players was not a way to go for me.
So I started to look for available resolutions and found one. It works perfectly, plus gives ability to locally stream and play everything, not only radio streams. This works both in ETS2/ATS, local re-stream could be used as a radio stream in game.

Requirements

1. VLC player. You can download it from official site or from portable apps: https://portableapps.com/apps/music_video/vlc_portable
2. Any text editor

Solution

1. Open ETS2/ATS not Steam save game location. E.g. for Win8 the path is %USERPROFILE%/Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/ or %USERPROFILE%/Documents/American Truck Simulator/
2. Find live_streams.sii file and open it
3. Add new station with URL http://localhost:8080 (if you don't know how to correctly add radio stations in live_streams.sii, please search for it in the web. This guide doesn't cover this part) and save.

Final notes

The same approach can be used to stream different kinds of audio content, I simply add playlist and start stream it, you can use different ports for different stations etc. And it can be listened as a radio stream in game.
