ALY'S IMPROVED GFX - VISIBLE RAILROADS

No Step Back is a great expansion. Railways and supply hubs add fantastic flavor, and sparks new strategy for both single and multiplayer. Despite the wonderful aesthetics of the railways, they're not exactly player-friendly, and from a distance, the GFX is hard to work out. Figuring out what level each railroad is is unfortunately and needlessly tedious (aside from Lv.1 and Lv.5 being wooden and steel railroads, respectively).

The higher the level railroad, the more supplies that get transported from the capital, and the quicker troops get transported. This makes railways an integral gameplay element for Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, or other nations with major conflicts. Apart from supply hubs themselves, they're a *big* priority in wars.

This mod adds extremely simplified railroad GFX - no shadows, no complicated visuals - simply visible, brightly-colored level indicators:

- Level 1 is a bright red (255, 0, 0).
- Level 2 is an orange (255, 100, 0).
- Level 3 is a bright yellow (255, 255, 0).
- Level 4 is a yellowish white (255, 255, 155).
- Level 5 is a bright green (0, 255, 0).

This'll give you the advantage in MP, and it doesn't change checksum, so it still works for achievements. Have fun!

USAGE POLICY:
It's not like I can copyright/trademark this, have fun lol it took me less-than half-an-hour. You can leave a link back here (for those interested) somewhere, but it's not a requirement if you want to integrate it into your own mod (but I'd sure like it and it wouldn't be a ♥♥♥♥ move :D). Just please don't claim you made it.

I'll keep this updated for any updates PDX commits to HoI4. Once all the applicable major mods get updated, I'll update this mod as a dependency of most of them so it gets loaded last and will load in properly.

@Technophile Max - That doesn't work IIRC, at least not with PDX Launcher 2.0. I have some mods for Stellaris that do that (the ones with the weird Japanese-English title mixes like Universal Beautiful Stellaris or whatever) and the launcher just errors out saying that it's still outdated.

Unless they've updated that recently. But to my knowledge wildcard'ing the version only works on the minor patch number.

Btw, you can just put "1.*" into the version compatibility, and you won't get a red triangle as long as the game doesn't come out with version 2.0.

@Jay ;3 - No, the two can be used together. IIRC I have a screenshot of both working at the same time on the Supply Map Mode version, it's a little visually cluttered but it works without a hitch.

And crashing can be sporatic. Originally it was because there was a problem with the DX11 API when it came out - after PDX patched it majority of crashes stopped. TFR might use some custom shaders or whatnot that are incompatible with both of my mods, but I'll install them and see what's up. Best case scenario I'll just have to force this to load after TFR.

Might as well ask before I forget, The Fire Rises seemed to crash with this mod. Not the same case with Kaiserredux which I regularly play, any clue why?
