Refined Hotwiring

Description
Ever regretted hotwiring that sweet sportscar? Ever got your hotwired car stolen by your friend and who then (somehow) managed to flip it? Or do you just want to become a local car key salesman, perhaps a famed car keysmith?

Then you're in the right place!

Refined Hotwiring allows you to un-hotwire your hotwired car or, with a little metalworking knowledge, create keys for them, all from the comfort of your vehicle radial menu.
Completely works and supports your favourite (vehicle radial menu-using) mods:
- Better Lockpicking
- Harry's Functional Tow Truck
- Autotsar Trailers
and more!

Features and skill requirements:
- Now featuring Custom Sandbox options, made singlehandedly by albion! Change the skill requirements of un-hotwiring and keycrafting to better fit your playstyle!

- Un-hotwiring! Removes the hotwiring from the car, allowing it to be started using a key.
Requires Electrical 2 and Mechanics 3 and takes 500 units of time to complete.

- Key crafting! Gain a key to the car you're sitting in.
Requires Electrical 1, Mechanics 2 and Metalworking 3, and takes 1250 units of time to complete.

- Base hotwiring is unchanged!
It still requires Electrical 1, Mechanics 2 or the Burglar skill, and takes 200 units of time to complete.

The time needed to complete these tasks get shorter the higher your Electrical knowledge is!

Does something not work as it should?
Please visit the mod's github page and open an issue under the "Issues" tab, or comment below using the Steam Workshop comments system. I will do my best to help!

Please give feedback on the mod!
For now, the Burglar trait does not allow you to bypass skill requirements for un-hotwiring or crafting car keys, because in my mind, Burglars learnt to break into homes and cars, but not how to delicately craft car keys or undo their damage. If you think this should be changed, please make yourselves heard!

Originally based on raz's "Harder Hotwire" mod, it has been completely rewritten to better follow vanilla skill requirements and better compatibility for Build 41.65+ aswell as other mods.(This means it also works for 41.78!)
This rewrite is, in no small part, thanks to raz and other talented people such as iBrRus and Aiteron, whose mods helped shape this mod into what it is today.

Please check them out and give them lots of love!

I'll definitely see what changed in Build 42 to break the mod, thank you everyone for notifying me! I'll also look into KI5 cars, just in case...

any chance for a build 42 version?
Krizzy Mar 13 @ 2:36pm
It doesn't work, I added it into existing save and I don't see the option to un-hotwire
b42?

The un-wiring seems to not work with KI5's vehicles if there is a way to make it work that would be awesome

Thank you for the effort and time you took to make this mod.

@DeerHunter pressing ESC to cancel it works, like any other vanilla action.

@Crimson there's Expanded Hotwire if you want key crafting to be toggleable.
