Brings a whole new dogfight system for jets like in Ace Combat or Project Wingman!

PLEASE READ BEFORE USAGE
  • Check your Configure - Game - Configure Addons - WBK Avionics. You'll find all of the settings there
  • Check your Configure - Controls - Configure Addons - WBK Avionics. You'll find all of the keybinds there
  • This is a beta version so expect bugs!
  • IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IF SOME VEHICLE USE THAT SYSTEM (AKA FIRE CUSTOM MISSILES) ADD IT TO AVIONICS BLACKLIST!
  • ALL OF THE SOUNDS ARE PLAYED THROUGH RADIO CHANNEL, DO NOT FORGET TO TURN UP YOUR RADIO VOLUME TO HEAR SOUNDS LIKE *PULL UP, MISSILE* ETC
  • THIS SYSTEM WAS MADE TO CREATE DYNAMIC DOGFIGHTS WHILE USING JETS, SO PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT IT WORKS PERFECTLY IN COMBINED ARMS OPERATIONS!!!
  • THIS SYSTEM CHANGES HOW AIR MISSILES WORK
  • IF YOU WANT TO USE ONLY HELICOPTERS (AS ONLY AIR VEHICLES) IN YOUR MISSION, DO NOT USE THAT SYSTEM SYNCE IT OVERRITES HELICOPTER BEHAVIOUR
  • FOR NOW SYSTEM DO NOT CONTAIN ARSENAL BIRD, WSO AI AND MANY OTHER THINGS THAT WILL BE ADDED IN UPCOMING UPDATES
  • IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE POST THEM IN MY DISCORD, THAT WOULD BE EASIER FOR ME TO RESPOND
  • SYSTEM WORK ONLY FOR BLUFOR AND OPFOR PLANES FOR PLAYERS, IF YOU WILL FLY GREENFOR PLANES LOCK SYSTEM WILL BUG OUT! However greenfor ai works normaly. That will be impoved later.

Now lets talk about
Mechanics
  • Two different locking systems with new missiles.
  • Adds new dogfight, more arcadish (Like in Ace Combat, Project Wingman or other arcade fly games), system and combine it with Arma mechanics.
  • Adds new SFX to planes
  • Adds new ai with different skills that you can fight agains.
  • Adds new AA Ai, flak rounds for ships and change behaviour of ground vehicles while they fight agains enemy aircraft
  • Adds new customization system for planes.
  • Adds new sounds for enemy/friendly pilots
  • Adds new hud for jets and air vehicles in general
  • Customization for mission makers that will allow to add your own rocket/general weapon types.
  • Some music, but i reccomend you to use mods that adds Ace Combat and Project Wingman music
  • And much more!

Jet combat without music is not that fun, so do not forget to use those mods and remember enable Music in your settings!

Yeah I know. I proposed an alternative for people who specifically just like the ammo-granting part of this mod

@chrystales It's supposed to be like ace combat, extra ammo, dialogue, and all. And I just figured out you can blacklist certain vehicles. I've blacklisted helos and mobile aa's, just because for some reason they were given boost as well and it was both annoying and hilarious to see a tunguska boost into the air.

If y'all just want more ammo on your planes, I recommend Magic Mag for Vehicles.

This mod was cool but it's actively breaking planes and helos. Afterburners would uncontrollably give them a huge velocity boost for no reason which literally sometimes destroys them

I tried putting a few different class names into the blacklist, but it doesnt seem to work. It wont allow me to use the Arma 3 default settings on them anymore. Meaning i cant select missiles and fire them

I dont know if it's just me, but I can't map my HOTAS buttons to WBK hotkeys. Saitek X52 works with vanilla plane movement, but missiles and tracking switching can only work on keyboard buttons

Sorry if that came off as too ranty, I want to like and use this mod, but it's just too clunky in its current state. Shame too, since I've been really into recreating the early stages of the continental war from AC4.

Although this is a neat little mod, in a way, I feel like this makes dog fighting much more clunky and unnecessarily tougher. I wouldn't mind having a version of this with just the increased amount of missiles and ace combat style lock out alerts, then I can just use arma's mechanics for dog fighting. I just feel that the enemy spams missiles and even when I know I outmaneuvered a missile, I still get hit waiting for chaff and flares/afterburners to cool down. I also have to get SUPER close to lock on, and even worse there is a huge delay after I fire the missile to when it actually launches, and by then my missile is already outmaneuvered. I know it's trying to simulate ace combat in that respect, but in my experience it renders missiles useless on my end. I'd rather just use the plane's own electronic warfare systems, radars, and weapons, especially when using Firewill's aircraft, which a lot of ace combat skins use anyway.
