Description
Encounter Imp Refit is a variant of the original SPRT Encounter Imp spawnship in the vanilla game, but with the added capability of interplanetary flight. Consistent with the original design, this build is completely vanilla (modless) and uses no DLC. The ship's basic hull structure is mostly unchanged, but has been revised somewhat from the existing design to add new features.

This revision occurred after I captured a Encounter Imp during a recent survival game. I needed ore gathering, refinery, and assembler capability with mobility until I could establish a stationary processing station in space. This is my original survival ship that has been further optimized and makes for a decent, but limited range, scout ship, courier, or explorer.

VANILLA DESIGN; NO DLCS; NO MODS

2. Load the blueprint into the projector; set the projector to "Keep Projection".
3. Build the blueprint.
4. When completed, grind away the connecting armor block under the projector.

ahh. I haven't seen them deconstructed before.

Thanks. The asterisk-looking panels and those adjacent to them are the relatively new armor panels (in this case, light armor panels). The partially deconstructed panels have interesting patterns and give the builds a bit more depth. I used a bunch on the bottom, too.

I always like seeing people's refits/reconstructions of vanilla ships.
What is that asterisk-shaped panel you used, right behind the sides of the cockpit?
