O.S.A. Light Transport 'Hireling'

Description
"A few minutes later, Hjalm had gathered his pioneers in their hangar, adjacent to the Charmer’s. Their ship, the Hireling, was docked near the far wall. Strictly a personnel-carrying vessel, it was smaller than the Charmer, and its yellow color with white stripes always made him think of the old Roquette."
-From Forces of Equilibrium

Used by the pioneers of the O.S.A., the Hireling is designed to carry its crew of four across vast distances in space. It is therefore only lightly armed, but use decoys to keep enemy fire away from its main hull.

Should the need arise, it is equipped with a refinery and assembler for the construction of components and equipment. Its hydrogen propulsion allows it to land on—and launch from—a planet’s surface if necessary. To aid in any construction or salvaging tasks, an A-2 Utility Craft is attached to its rear connector.

This ship is absolutely amazing! I needed a scout to go hunting for spider meat and trading stations on the alien world that I had never been to and decided to give this ship a try. It's aesthetics allow it effortlessly fit into a Star Wars setting as a Fringe transport. Then, there's what it can DO in this game!

The rear docking port is absolutely perfectly designed to dock at the large-ship port on economy trading stations. In fact, that little spine on the underside of the large thruster (one that I thought was going to create a problem when parking like this) actually became the perfect guide for helping me back into place to dock!

The gunnery placements make for excellent defense and cover fire when hunting and defending against wildlife.

This beauty has made itself absolutely essential in my fleet. Thank you SO so much for sharing this dream of a ship! :steamhappy:

Sure! The rear connector is meant to be a general drone dock with access to the entire ship.
