アイーシャ・東風侍妃・ウドガルド

Description
A Deep Diver class submarine for a crew of 4 - 8 beginners and experienced players

The "Aisha Udgard"
Based on the "Liscia Elfrieden", this submarine is basically the same with some changes and improvements. It might be not wrong to consider it "Liscia-maru Mark II". For a better distinguishment I have named it differently.

The "Liscia Elfrieden" you can find here:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2662559069

"Aisha" can be easily managed by a crew of four, while she truly shines with her versatility to support up to 10 crew members with ease. Very similar with little to no differences in comparison to "Liscia".

However, this submarine comes with superior firepower and a few changes in design to reflect the name's origin. Which is "Aisha Udgard" - strongest warrior of the United Kingdom of Elfrieden and Amidonia.*

Her design is to please her crew with utmost comfort, while the equipment preset is overly generous and providing every single crew member not only with basic equipment sets, but also with semi-personal lockers. Starter sets included.

She is made for the laid back explorer who loves to take their friends on a relaxing and yet interesting joyride. This model is not suitable for game modes which have one or multiple traitors. All the security is designed for a crew you can trust.

Beginners who want the real Barotrauma experience should rather take a vanilla ship to experience the true horrors of the sea of Europa - considering how overpowered this ship is. It is made to be handled by a beginner level crew, but at the same time the crew who wished for this kind of ship had played on multiple ships before, making them accustomed to upgrades. Them not wanting to miss the progresses they have made by restarting again and again a campaign, in sake for a new ship, is the reasoning behind the generous provisions.

Ship Details

  • Made it extra simple to navigate through the ship

  • Those doors can be turned remotely into "security doors" to slow down intruders
  • Up to 30 minutes battery life, for extra safety
"You treat her like a lady. And she'll always bring you home."
  • Auto-Control-Circuit of the Reactor pre-installed which is also known as "Magic Wiring"
It comes with a mode for
    Undervolting
(left lever ▲ right lever ▼)
    Performance (right lever ▲)
    Fuel Efficiency (both levers ▼)
Reactor can be put remotely into suspension and will do so automatically when docked

About Reactor Modes I have tested all three modes with full speed while having two fuel rods inserted. The power consumption looks somewhat like this: Undervolting After 2 minutes 4% After 4 minutes 7% After 6 minutes 10% After 8 minutes 13% Performance After 2 minutes 8% After 4 minutes 16% After 6 minutes 23% After 8 minutes 29% Fuel Efficiency After 2 minutes 6% After 4 minutes 10% After 6 minutes 15% After 8 minutes 20% Roughly you can say: Undervolting -> +50% -> Fuel Efficiency -> +50% -> Performance In comparison when it is set to automatic mode without any special "Magic Wiring" Automatic Mode After 2 minutes 7% After 4 minutes 14% After 6 minutes 21% After 8 minutes 27% Considering that: why should I use "Magic Wiring" and e.g. Performance mode to begin with? The reason is, that the "Magic Wiring" makes it much safer to use multiple rods at once, and the reactor reacts much faster to power spikes (combat e.g.). Also, the automatic suspension of the reactor during docked state saves significant amounts of fuel the time you are docked to a station. Please keep in mind that those values above are made under testing conditions for the purpose of comparing the different modes. The actual fuel consumption during normal play, with additional fabricators, deconstructors, pumps, etc. running can and will differ.

Known issues: Gunlights control light component is missing logic check, bots can get stuck

Notes
As you can tell, the original design goes all back to a modified Dugong.
The "Liscia Elfrieden" was my very first submarine design as a beginner with Barotrauma.

Unfortunately the "Liscia" had some flaws while I have been trying hard to fulfill all wishes and preferences of my crew. Adding the feedback from playing with the "Liscia" to this ship, it resulted in this "Liscia Mark II" aka "Aisha Udgard".

That you can damage the ship with the top coilguns is intended, for coverage. Of course you should only aim there in case of an emergency when you are sure to hit something which is attacking that hull section.

Please do not look up the wiring in the editor! >.<;;;
It is extremely embarassing, but yeah, I am that bad. At some point I just gave up order, since it seems impossible to fix everything without wiring everything anew.
I consider it a small miracle that it works... somehow...

Reactor works best with two rods minimum.

どうもありがとうございます!
Thank you for checking out this submarine! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

And sorry for my bad English. It is not my native tongue.

If you have fun playing with this ship, please consider

It would encourage me to make and share more workshop items in the future.

This submarine has been made with and for Barotrauma v0.15.13

* "Aisha Udgard" is a fictional character from the light novel series 現実主義勇者の王国再建記. A dark elf warrior princess from the God-Beast-Protected forest. To save her forest she fought the best of the best in a tournament and came out as winner. In a very risky attempt, she then made as champion of the tournament a direct plea towards the king. Her strength, bravery and loyalty makes her truly the strongest warrior of the United Kingdom of Elfrieden and Amidonia.
