解説
Description:
Adds Triton Heavy Frigate (L-size) to Segaris Pioneers. Equipped with two large turret but poor health overall. Yes, the top turret is backward facing, this is done to prevent turret blocking the landing pad.

VRO version is included in the base VRO mod

A special thanks to Shuulo for helping with updating the mod for 6.0!

Ship Description:
As relations between the Protectorate and the Pioneers deteriorate, the Pioneers felt the need for a domestically designed and produced warship. As a result, the Segaris Development Program was initiated and Triton class was created as a prototype to test design ideas. Although it possesses a considerable amount of firepower for a ship of this size, the hull plating had to be thinned to create space for its power generation systems.

Probably not with this one since its barely bigger than a M ship, wouldn't make much sense as a carrier.
As for a new carrier, stay tuned ;) there should be some news before the end of the month from me.

Is it possible to change ship type to carrier (like new Boron L size carrier) or make it's unit bay bigger (for making it drone carrier/mine-layer)? I am not sure if it's possible to change ship type without issues mid-save, but maybe you can add 1 more variant of the ship (something with name like 'Poseidon') with carrier role.

Just be advised you can't deactivate this mod once you've made a save with it. I picked it up initially after seeing it listed on the "Classic Mode" mod description. Trying to track a problem, I deactivated the mods I had, and this mod made my save incompatible with vanilla.

started a new gameplay from 0 after update 6.0 release, can i add this mod in the middle of my game?

Actually I do have one complaint and that is the base cost of it. It is just 4.4M credits cheaper as a hull to get a Triton over an Osaka, and at 5.5M it really isn't worth buying. It's prohibitively expensive for it's damage and weight class.

The Triton is more costly as a hull than the Behemoth, for perspective.

I'd love a more combat focused version of this. Maybe Segaris decided it needed to design a main battery for it, and give it 2 more defensive turrets on the oval protrusions along the side just aft of the bow.

Good looking ship, otherwise.
