A2021 Milwaukee A Interchange

Description
This is a Milwaukee A service interchange. It connects traffic from a highway to a regular road network. It's similar to a Diamond Interchange, except for two additional on-ramps. Because of these ramps the traffic lights at the two intersections only have two steps per cycle, where a regular Diamond would have three steps (or four depending if you let traffic coming off the highway back on again) per cycle. This makes it a very efficient interchange.

- Cost: 33.160,-
- Maintenance: 460,-
- Size: 108x48
- Max. height: 5m
- Min. height: -5m
- Nodecount: 41
- Lane mathematics are applied for a good traffic flow.
- Lane connections have been applied.
- No clipping lightposts/streetlights (lights going through roads situated above them)

- As always; flatten the entire area the blueprint/template covers.
- I advise to put a 'Timed Traffic Light' on the intersections and program them as shown in the screenshots/video.
- To fully enjoy this interchange you need to subscribe to a couple of mods. These mods do not affect your games performance. They only add extra very handy tools to your game.

Note: I've used the mod called 'Road Options' to make the roads look darker. With this mod you can alter the road colors of all the roads in your city with ease. Link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=932192868&searchtext=road+options

Because '3-lane highways' are the most commonly used highway type on maps, I've created this interchange to be connected (the highway ends on the interchange) to these 3-lane highways. The 4th lane on the 4-lane highways are used as exit and entry lanes.

Enjoy!

Want to know how 'Lane mathemetics' work and how to use the functions of TM:PE? I recommend watching some of Biffa's traffic fixing video's on Youtube

I was wondering why this was called a "Milwaukee" interchange (I'm from Wisconsin), so I perused the city on google maps. It's at the junction of interstate 41/43 and South 27th St, Northwest of the airport. Cool:)
