Hearts of Minecraft is a total conversion mod bringing the ever-growing story of Minecraft players to the strategy warfare of Hearts of Iron 4. Featuring a brand-new world map, new 3d models, a new tech tree, 27 nations with full focus trees, and the ability to visit the nether and the end, how will you forge the stories of the player empires? Build your nations, mine resources, and wage war. Can you save the fallen kingdom from the mob hordes at its gates? Can you protect the Southern Player Empire from the invasion of the Piglin Horde? Can you prevent Imperia from falling into complete collapse? The fate of these nations lie in your hands, and it is up to your skill to fight for their future.

The year is 648, 300 years since the evacuation of the Nether, and a storm is brewing across the Overworld. The Southern Player Empire, Guardians of the Nether Portals, have been hearing mysterious sounds and cries at the gates of their portals. Long past the height of their power, the Southern Empire must rebuild themselves in preparation to face whatever threat lies across the interdimensional gap. In the North of the Continent Lies Imperia, beloved sister empire of the Southern Player Nation and they are truly in times of peril. King Heinrich the First lies on his deathbed, and the empire that was once mighty is now left in ruin. Captain Marx leads a rebellion in the undergrowth of the nation to overthrow the King and install a socialist government. Heinrich's grandson, Soon to be King Heinrich the Second, must decide how to confront the rise of the Socialists and keep his Government intact.

In the Nether, The Golden Horde rules supreme since defeating the Player Empires years ago. However a new contender is rising to power. A piglin named Hades, devil of the underworld, is rallying the wandering hordes of piglins to be under his command. Fueled by anger at the players for decimating their beloved Home, Hades is set on one goal. The Conquest of the Overworld. His ruthlessness will rally many piglins to be under his command and form a great empire to one day cross the Nether Portals and strike at the Player Empires.

On the Eastern Continent, an Ancient Nation fights for survival. The Eastern Kingdom, bogged down in conflict by hordes of mobs, is on its last legs from a rapid rise to power in the Undead Lands. Their noble king is encircled at his castle, and they must free him or the kingdom will surely fall into chaos. In the North, The Ardantean Social Kingdom grapples with challenging times and internal political turmoil.

In the dark hazardous northern islands, one last contender awaits his call to arms. The Players remember him. The Mobs still suffer from his curses. The Question remains. Will you see him coming?
