Description
It's only a small patch to make the fence gate open much faster.

I find that the fence gate is very bad, it's only a door with fence skin, same function, same cost, same wealth, but very weak hp, no real advantage to use it (only esthetic).
Also, it's faster for pawns to pass fence throught a diagonal hole than by a fence gate (look screenshot), when the pen work same, animals don't pass by diagonal hole.

So with this patch, the fence gate is openned much faster (same speed than autodoor, without being auto), it's almost as fast than the diagonal fence hole, but prettier :)


Note that it's not perfect, as fence gate actually really act as a door, ie, you can use it indoor to separate room as a door. Please, don't do it, or Randy will be angry!

Your XML code should probably not use sequence. Just write them out and no <li> required.

@Dizzy loeuy It's the remain of a bigger patch. As it as no effect on performance, I left it like that by laziness.

Just fyi, using patchsequence is not a good choice unless you need the entire sequence to fail if any part fails. But your sequences are only single operations anyway, three of them. Just write it out in the patch file. I did so for you in the discussions for this mod if you want to cut and paste.

i had to do some stupid gate profiling to make it so my animals don't starve and now my pawns move like 600% slower thanks

Both mods use a custom base, so my patch do nothing for them.

@trajda if a modded fence gate is done by being based on vanilla fence gate, the patch will be applied too. Which mod have you in mind?

@brucethemoose Still here . It was only an alternative version of this mod , who is also xml only.
After my first game with it, I removed it from my mod list because it's too powerful, seems cheaty. So I don't want to update it (not even sure filter are still correct with 1.3 and ideology), so as lot of similar mods exists, I just hide it in waiting to delete it when nobody use it.
