SSW Aardwolf - Reforged Jump Miner

The aardwolf (Proteles cristata) is an insectivorous mammal, native to East and Southern Africa. Its name means "earth-wolf" in Afrikaans and Dutch. Unlike many of its relatives in the order Carnivora, the aardwolf does not hunt large animals. It eats insects and their larvae, mainly termites; one aardwolf can lap up as many as 250,000 termites during a single night using its long, sticky tongue. The aardwolf's tongue has adapted to be tough enough to withstand the strong bite of termites.

This designed-in and -for Reforged Eden Tier 2 unlock level 12 SV miner comes from the factory with:

Jump Drive
Four (4) Mechanical Drills
10k Harvest storage
Two (2) Gatling guns and one (1) Minigun turret
600 Ammo storage (6000 15mm rounds)
Mobile Constructor, Oxygen Station, Armor Locker, Fridge, Wireless, and Detector

While not as brutally efficient as a 6 drill miner, the 4-drill Aardwolf has one major advantage - the ability to jump to other planets in your starter system to gather the needed resources for your first CV. Using exclusively Advanced Medium Thrusters, it can rotate in its own drill hole and defend itself at the same time while hauling a load of ore back to base.

Once an Improved CPU is added (replacing either of the side piping blocks and hidden truss block), spacing above the Mobile Constructor allows vertical placement of a Light Shield, additional Generator, and enough CPU to upgrade all four drills to the Laser version. Identical space on the opposite side allows the second Improved CPU in case you need a Standard Shield and/or 2 more drills (which would require minor reconfiguration on the front end).
