Description
WARNING!

This may be one of the most complicated builds EVER made for SE!
It is far from being anything for survival but more of a fun build or tech demo!

Also it is a WIP! So it is not finished yeet! The front section is hollow, there is a main control seat inside
you can reach from under the front ramp! Don't let the front ramp be open when using the drilling function!

READ INSTRUCTIONS and control advises in the pictures of this workshop page!

Basic rules:

1. Place on even terrain! Ice lakes work best!
2. If drilling process is started theres NO way to stop before the procedure is done!
3. Make sure all four landing gears are locked (green)
4. It may crash anyway! Seems low end PCs cant handle it very good.
But also higher end rigs may have a crash rate of 10% even when the Titan is perfectly handled!

@grindHouse Guru. This was built 3 years ago, there has been multiple updates since then that would make this system functionality less than intended. Maybe instead of insulting the build, understand that time has passed.

It looks beautiful, there are a lot of moving elements, but all the good impression crumbles with the inefficiency of such inventions. And if it's not effective, then why is it necessary?

My rig didn't crash, but I did have an issue when it was pulling the drill back out. The final stage stopped short about 8m into the hole. I was able to get it working by placing a button on top of the piston, but it turned out to have a lot of damage to the head anyway. Several conveyors were either damaged beyond usable, or outright broken off.

Pretty good design though. I'm taking some inspiration from it for a ship-based plunge drill.

how are you meant to use a drilling platform when THERE'S NO SEAT OR BUTTONS????

Coolest and most compact design I've seen, even if it is "take it for what it is" as of now. A bit flimsy here and there and might break itself or the pc maybe. But still very neat design and overall puts a wow factor.
