Been wanting to make a return to attempting a full Silent Hill overhaul collection for long long while...

My idea with this isn't just to gather all the Silent Hill mods available on the workshop, this is intended to be a one click away modpack from giving l4d2 a Silent Hill appearance both visually and audibly through as many ways as possible through what is available just using the workshop... and I do mean it when I say this is a full overhaul replacing pretty much everything (there is further mods you can find online like a font changer, and more re-skins but its up to you, links below) A portion of mods here aren't actually from SH necessarily but are meant to just match the aesthetic of the game, I've made the weapons be more rugged and less modern cause where the ♥♥♥♥ do you find an M60 or high calibre military grade sniper rifle in SH? Managed to make some of them match ones from the games though e.g. the uzi (SH3) & mac-10 (SH4) or the M1911 & revolver.. otherwise a lotta yee' oldy guns due to the old timey nature and appearance of SH. The infected are pretty much bang on with most being actual model ports and or easily matching the monster esc looks, all in all I think my two purposes from making this were just 1. for the fanboys, and 2. the best mod collection you could find in preparation for playing a SH campaign... MENU BACKGROUND & MUSIC - Find the mod in the list here and read its description for details, you'll need GCFScape to mess with .vpk files and replace the default main menu backgrounds, for the music just find the mod in your addons/workshop folder in your l4d2 game directory and place the .vpk file into "addons" to make the music start instantly.
