SRV-8 SAM Radar Truck "Sauron"

The SRV-8 Radar Truck "Sauron" or "SAM Radar Vehicle 8" is a raycast based LiDAR platform designed to detect enemy craft and relay that information via a command vehicle into the satelite network for that you can use nearby SAM vehicles to launch anti-air missiles or relay the information to fighter squadrons. This works due to JTurp's Lidar Mapping script. When deployed with others, you can get a semi-reliable feed of information (this is limited due to the fact that raycasting in space engineers in not extremely effective). This platform can be used in two different ways; you can either spin it on the rotor, or angle it towards where you expect enemies to come from. The range on this platform is about 3km (again due to the raycasting limits). This vehicle relies on other craft to defend it, as it has no defense for itslef. This radar platform introduced into service along with the LTV-6 "Leopard" Tactical Relay and the SPCML-10 "Atlatl" in the most recent modernization program for the Marine-Corp is a good way of detecting enemy craft and guiding missiles onto them.
