Description

GENERAL

A low-cost effective APC, capable of being transported into combat by dropship, was required to satisfy the Marine 70 battlefield deployment strategy. From this, the M577 Armored Personnel Carrier was born. The M577, fully mobile and well armed, is a multi-role vehicle designed as part of a lightly equipped rapid-reaction force. Because of rigid design restrictions imposed by the need for the APC to be drop-transportable, it has resulted in a lighter and less capable vehicle than other APCs currently in service.

SYSTEMS

DROPSHIP COMPATIBLE
The M577 APC is purpose-built to work with many aerial vehicles, but more specifically the UD-4L Cheyenne Utility Dropship. It can be carried outboard by this craft to be deployed from orbit.This effectively raises the collective complement to 15, spread amongst both vehicles.
GRAVITY CAPABILITY
The APC holds the ability to operate normally within artificial gravity fields as well as standard natural gravity fields due to artificial mass anchors.
TACTICAL OPERATIONS CENTER
The M577 is equipped with 6 EKG / EEG biometric readout monitors which display real-time helmet-cam feed. It is the perfect station for monitoring troops as a senior officer. Often missions are staged from this operations center while the marines take point.
MEDICAL
The APC also comes with a medical compartment, and is able to heal wounded marines with a survival kit, which is wall mounted in the rear interior compartment of the APC.
WEAPONS
The APC comes equipped with a stowable (unguided) mortar turret as well as two heavy-duty gatling guns at the front of the hull. It also possesses a tactical laser to aid in aiming.
CLEARANCE
For small openings and aerial transport, the rear mortar turret can raise up and down to allow more streamlined access into tight spaces. The tire pressure can be easily raised or lowered, so ground clearance can be changed to fit mission parameters.
SENSORS
The APC can be calibrated to detect ores as well as hostile lifesigns within a 50 meter radius utilizing hifi air-motion density tracking. This will trigger an alarm in the cabin.
SAFETY
The M577 holds standard roadway lighting, dynamic lights that respond to braking, reversing, and turning for maximal ground-crew safety.

uh... That sounds like an extremely strange issue. I think that's a bug. I can't see how my wheeled build specifically would do that? Please keep me posted, I hope you solve your issue! :)

Hi, i have a problem. Every time a relog to a game, the wheels will not rotate while turning, this only happens when I exit the game and relog again. Otherwise an excellent build!
