Description
Eve Online Minmatar battleship - Maelstrom. Took me a while to finish this build. I imported it and went over the whole thing. Then i started to do the interior and that took the longest to do which has your basic rooms: command room, crew quarters, medbay, and engine room. The paint job is as close and i can get to the real deal.

The ship is around 740m longs and the fins are like 400m long, atleast the bottom ones. It is 72.9mil kg that accelerates at a rate of 1.0m/s/s, i think. Turns really good for its size.

This will be my last build for a while so i can catch up and update my other ones.

*WARNING* You'll get a Render Overload warning. Dont know what to do to fix lol.

Good memories from years ago. Had a 2003 character back in the day.

As of Feb 2018 (version 1.186), this world file loads unsuccessfully.

This is incompatible with the current version of Space Engineers. Users will be stuck at the loading screen while being prompted to spawn.

Solar panels in place of the glass would be useful, but those are actually radiator panels on Mimatar ships, not solar panels.

I'm Rather sure there are alot of solar panel mods out there, I use like 4 of them myself... I just can't get enough solar panels, You should check them out; Though I'm not promising that they're the correct shapes c:

if someone made solar panels with the same shapes as the glass i would change them out

Oi Oi, Not sure if you noticed, But Personally, I'd replace all that glass at the top, near the "Wingy bits" with solar panels, make her tottally Indi of reactors, add in some batteries, and keep a couple reactors in the oven just in case.. hehe C: Looks really good :P

@cammcc92: Epic build. I love 1:1 works like this. I've got a Ferox in the oven right now, which I submitted a little early. It's about as long as this ship is, I think mine is going to be a little longer at over 830 meters when finished. In any case, it's a beast also. I'm surprised your weight is so low. Did you use all light armor blocks? Anyway, great build, I'm loving to see so many EVE ships here, it's great.

As for the frame drops, one thing you can do to help correct that is to download 'large address aware' and add this game application to it's listing. What that will do is allow full use of RAM when interacting with such large worlds, and might eliminate your 'Render Overload Warning' issue. It has for me. Make sure that original and LAA are both set to 'true'. You'll probably have to fire it up and check that it's properly set everytime you get into the world, but it's a small price to pay to avoid the Render Overload Warning. Great work!

Can I ask you to build this once more, but with the half size of the original? It is really hard to me, because my game is very lagging when I load this ship.
I hope it is not a big ask. :)
