Mod Description
Made to work as both a "endgame location" or a location to discover while exploring the wasteland late game, mainly due to there being many "high tier" weapons and power armour that can be looted from here. And also because the ICBM's and rockets never actually come back down or "do anything" besides launching into the sky, they are purely cinematic. I've designed this silo will all the feedback iv'e gotten form vault 84; started with NV style mountain, kept mod and part count to a bare min, and it's not such a nightmare to place down. Unfortunately, this has led to bit of a lack in environmental storytelling, at least compared to vault 84, relying more on the scenario/ map creator to flush it out if desired. The silo has 2 ways of entering it, a heavy fortified main entrance as well as the sewer system, however is it impossible to survive the journey threw the sewers without the help of a rebreather or a "perk" to expand lung capacity.

Questions & Answers
Q: Is PLP really needed?
A: Its JUST used for the windows in the control room. If aftermath ever releases a suitable replacement it will be swapped out to keep mod count down.

Q: Why not make this into a map?
A: I see my compositions just as tools to help bring more life to sci-fi scenarios and maps, but can be used however you wish. therefor making it a composition makes it easier for scenario/ map makers to use/ modify these as desired. that all said, i have no issues with anyone adding any of my compositions to any maps in any way, do with them as you please.

Q: Why isn't this "mod" showing in the launcher/ how to spawn it?
A: This isn't a "mod", its just a composition, and wont show in your launcher. You'll find this composition in the editor, once there you need to press the groups key or F2 then click on the composition icon. last pic in the slideshow above will show were that is.

Q: Why add loot?
A: Normally ill make location compositions "clean" (no items or AI) and leave it to the scenario/ map makers to add in what they want, but for a "fallout location", i don't know, just didn't feel right. That being said i kept it to a minimum this time, and you will only be able to find loot in a couple key locations.

Q: Why is it spawning all broken up/ floating?
A: You need to click off Vertical Mode & Surface Snapping before spawning any comp, last pic above shows were to find it

Q: What maps were used for the pics/ vids?
A: kholm

Known Bugs & Issues
- bunker interior pieces don't currently have indoor sounds (bathrooms do)
- launching rocket will temporarily override scripts/ hp of players, AI, objects and structures in a small radius around it. sadly this causes a decent amount of lag when the missile launch's
- lights on top floor on silo will spawn their light sources under the floor, no clue as to why it does this

would be very hard to do with vanilla assets. if your looking for something a bit more modern/ cold war theres actually a silo mod that came out a while back that would probably suit your needs better/ would be a hell of a lot less laggy as its just 1 large object i believe. you can find it here: https://forums.bohemia.net/forums/topic/192087-pook-silo-cup/
