Simple Tree Trap with Animations and Killbox

Description
A simple tree trap that kills anything under its branches for 4 seconds while it falls.

-fully animated tree falling action!
-scripted triggers to force animations when it detects a player!
-self deleting triggers after the animation plays!
-1.5 whole seconds of animation!

REQUIRED: CUP Terrains

NOTE:
Please place this object in dense tree populated forests most effectively placed along hiking trails and forest roads.
And obviously you would delete the VR helpers in the Eden Editor, the helpers are just there to show you the alignment.

HOW TO MAKE MULTIPLE TRAPS:

1: rename timeline1 to whatever you want (this should be automatically named timeline1_1 as its just the variable
name)

2: in Animate_1 'On Activation' INIT you will use the newly named timeline that you renamed.

3: find and rename Animate_1 and Killbox_1 to whatever you want, in the 'On Deactivation' INIT you can rename the variables that come after deleteVehicle to the matching names you gave the new trigger variables.

if you need help locating any of the information in this small guide I left pictures for you to follow. Anything highlighted in orange is the variable name you will change.

That is a good idea, maybe make 2 of them in the same comp, one for road blocking with a big tree and on for a killing units.

@Play3r not going to lie, its been a minute since I've touched this comp. If I have time I'll try to update it with sound. I will also try to get a vanilla tree model to make it more compatible for everyone. though with newly gained knowledge I can make it do ACE damage too.

@ shy if you can find a standard sound in the game config that sounds like a tree breaking you can play it, then it does not matter what map is used

@sienihemmo this only uses the vanilla damage model which can be tweaked down from 1 to 0 or any number you need (i find 0.25 is good to make a unit crippled but not dead), it will also stay 'alive' and will actively prevent vehicles from proceeding on the path, unless that vehicle has the mass or velocity to 'kill' the tree.

Does this work with ACE? And does the object stay "alive" as in will it still block units and vehicles?

@Fats i'm having a bit of an issue adding sound, and the map is Virolahti. once I solve the issue with triggers not self terminating I will be more focused on the sound. :)

very nice tree fall. How about a nice cartoonish gooeee Splat! sound after it falls over someone XD. or Timber!! and then splat!

Shy, about the sounds, they are located in a pbo file in Steam -> steamapps -> common -> arma3 -> addons -> sounds_f_epc.pbo (probably what you are looking for)
