Nice map, the first step was hard to find, but it's fair :p2cube:

Excellent solution now :)

Watched the video, I love them, it's entertaining as hell. Anyhow, I didn't mean to put the grating on the far side of the room where it is at, I had moved it when I was doing the redesign and I just forgot to put it back. But it's fine where it is. The only other things that changed where reducing the size of the portalable wall on the far side (aesthetics) and extending the glass panel one more square (to prevent Piranha.A's shoot and run solution). With the slightly longer run, I don't think it is possible to pull off the shoot and run shot (though I never say never, some people have some mad skillz).

After watching Piranha's ending, I tried it and couldn't do it, so I was still stumped. Had beer break, came back and solved it using the lightbridge. I was stuck trying to do it the way I had originally and I started trying something with the bridge, but wasn't on the right path. Anyway, after coming back to it, it clicked and realized I had all the time in the world. I like it now, but was harder due to the mindset I had from previous playthroughs.

Thanks for the video, I had thought I had fixed the shoot and run exit strategy. New version up to 'hopefully' fix that.

The reason that feels clunky, is because that is not the way it is meant to be solved. I know it looks like the intuitive thing to do, but you shouldn't be able to actually pull it off. Your excellent play skills proved me wrong, though I think it is 'fixed' now.

Thanks for making the chambers! I've replayed the new version and I gotta say that the end part felt a bit better before. Maybe I'm not solving it as intended, here's what I did .

No, I agree with you there. I'd say "advancify" is the wrong term after playing everyone's map. I think mine is actually easier as well. The part I went with is that it's a similar map using the same concept, but the solution is altered. That's my take on it. I really like how you kept it basically the same and switched things around though. If I had played this one first it would have definitely taken me much longer. Again, great job!

Yep, I messed up the ending part. The glass panel was supposed to be longer than is there, somehow I overlooked that. Fix will be up shortly.

As for it being easier, for some it is, for others it might not be. IMHO, I don't think 'advancing' a puzzle means it has to be harder. To tell the truth, I had a hard time advancing any of my maps, I just feel like the good ones are where they need to be at and didn't need to be advanced anymore. So I went with this idea. Thanks for playing guys!

I also recorded my solution. Thanks for that tip, mechtakendall :)

I agree with DeathWish808 that this version felt easier than the original (except for that first bit ;). I found that it's even quite easy to get into the funnel once you "acquired" the sphere. See here .
