I suppose you can confirm that the weighted cube needs to be on the upper button, caught through the grate, whereas the companion needs to be put on the lower button?
I'll try to think about it again, maybe in the meantime you can create a kind of walkthough video? It's not fair to build hard chambers without a walkthrough :-P Otherwise we accept any hint I guess ;-)
Btw there already is some (short timed) trickery in the chamber with interrupting the beam. And by getting P2 in the extended beam leading to the upper area by touching the beam with only your head. So that's why we believed in this trickery too ^^
The intended way uses only clever portal and player positioning to bring the cube through the portal on to safe ground .
To switch the cubes we brought the companion cube unter the blue fizzler in the room by using the tractor beam. Link . Is this the right solution?
