Secret Society Cultist Promotion

Description
Cultist are now a land melee unit. Can gain XP along with having a custom promotion tree.

Requires Ethiopia DLC and secret societies mode. (will give error if enabled without playing a secret society game.)

This has a lot more changes made compared to the vampire mod, so here are some details.
Cultists:
-They are now a melee land unit instead of a pseudo-religious unit.
-Have a combat strength equal to the strongest unit you've produced (similar to vampires), but receive no other increase to combat damage beyond that.
-Cannot attack after moving.
-Have their ability to enter foreign territory by default, moved to their promotion tree.
-Movement (2>3), cost to purchase (100>175), loyalty damage from using a charge (10>15), and loyalty damage buff from dark summoning (2>5); have all been increased.
-Only gain a void relic upon using all 3 charges. Dying in combat won't work.

Governor Promotions:
-First promotion grants a single cultist unit in your capital
-Second promotion grants a single cultist in your capital.
-Third promotion grants a void leader in your capital. This unit is able to found a religion, similar to a great prophet, but subverts the normal religion/great prophet availability.
*sorry the unit looks like a couple guys with clubs, the artdefs modding frightens and confuses me*

Discover Chance:
-increased to 100, because having it be random is fun in theory but not in practice.

Something changed recently, because when I use this mod now, the mod stops the start of the game. I really enjoyed it when it was working.

Having played this mod, i'd say it's essential, and a massive conceptual and gameplay upgrade. Also makes the society more impactful, fun, and flavorful. Your "Vampire Promotions" mod is another essential gameplay upgrade. Actually all your seceret societies mods have been great and really spruce up this area of the game.

by default its not setup to affect saved games. you could manually change that in the mod files and it probably wouldnt break the save but might not function 100% correctly

Hmm. You could add them to the normal listing, then put the AI weighting to 0 for them, along with any special beliefs and such you wanted to add with it. Another option could be to turn the leader into a "great person" with a global effect when activated. An example is to give them a automatic promotion at creation to pick the "god" they represent (similar to Apostle upgrades), then have the effect become a global effect when they are activated. They could also be set to add an extra belief to an established religion if you wanted. There are options here, maybe look for help of the forum boards? I do wish you luck though! Would be cool to see this through!

thats a cool idea. sadly not savvy enough to know how i would make those religions available only to the void leader

I love these mods, they make two of the weaker Societies a lot more interesting! Thanks for that! A question: The Void Leader is a cool idea. Can you modify him to change the religions you get? Like instead of the standard Catholics, Judeism, Sunni, etc, it give new "Gods" (and new beliefs, of course), like Nyarlutthotep, Shub Nigguroth, Cthulhu, and Yog Sothoth? Would be pretty cool!

Sorry, I had forgotten to give this a go. Upon rereading the description I think what you have done here is genius and spot-on and buffs this and its secret society into a heavy weight, up there with the champs. As soon as I get to play this I'll let you know my thoughts afterwards. Thanks for the killer mod --- I stand converted.
