Developed alongside the REC, the Gladius was designed to contend with the LKF Alto, which Strahl class interceptors had trouble dealing with.

However, due TFKs situation in the war, the design process was dragged out for months. However eventually a few examples were produced and have began to see use against LKF forces on the frontlines.

Description

The Gladius is a short range fighter. Equipped with heavy frontal firepower and armour, it is designed to contend for space superiority over the battlefield.

It flies mainly on hydrogen thrusters, using only two rear firing ions as auxilary engines. The foldable landing gear makes it look better during flight, though these can be replaced with static gear for multiplayer etc.
