[WOTC] Iridar's Template Master - Core

This mod contains code capable of creating templates of any class that extends:

• X2ItemTemplate
  
• X2StrategyElementTemplate

As well as editing most properties of templates of the following types:

• X2EquipmentTemplate
  
• X2ArmorTemplate
  
• X2SchematicTemplate
  
• X2WeaponTemplate
  
• X2PairedWeaponTemplate
  
• X2GrenadeTemplate
  
• X2GremlinTemplate
  
• X2WeaponUpgradeTemplate
  
• X2TechTemplate
  
• X2SoldierUnlockTemplate
  
• X2SoldierAbilityUnlockTemplate

It can also create or adjust soldier class abilities and stat progression much simpler than game's own abhorrent SoldierRanks array.

If you are installing this mod because another mod requires it, then you do not have to do anything else. That other mod will already contain configuration for the Template Master.

If you wish to use the Template Master to create or edit templates yourself, then use the [WOTC] Iridar's Template Master - Configuration mod.


X2 WOTC Community Highlander of any version is required.


Should be compatible with anything and everything. The mod itself is safe to install or remove mid campaign, however you may still break things if disabling this mod will mean certain templates will get not created.


Over time I intend to expand this mod by adding more commands and allowing it to create and edit more template types. The goal is to eventually replace Weapon Skin Replacer as the go-to mod for editing templates.
