Vanilla A40

Description
Small, Easy to use Attack-class submarine. Designed to track and hunt down medium targets in the deep oceans. Equipped for long campaigns. Good luck.

Dry Weight: 4.155 metric tons
Top Speed: 55km/h
Dive speed: -17/+18
Weapons:
4 coilguns with extra lights, Can safely be swapped for chainguns or lasers.
1 railgun.
2 discharge coils
1 depth charge launcher


Features & Good to know stuff

--Power:--
*Supercapacitor "balance battery" connected to power grid to provide extra sauce and absorb power spikes during high power usage
*Battery charging can be toggled on or off with a quick button.
*Battery usage can be toggled on or off regardless of charging status (Note: batteries only starts to drain after the supercapacitor is empty)
*The Oxygen generator can be turned on or off, to save power. (WARNING!: the electrical grid does not really like it when oxygen is off, beware of erratic behavior)
*Diving suit lockers connected to oxygen system!
*Emergency lights automatically turns on during low power.
*Can set engine power at the terminal. (numbers 1-100)

--Weapons:--
*Custom Proximity Sonar in the gunnery. Reacts to movement outside the sub in 8 directions.
Useful to quickly spot enemies. Can also detect movement inside wrecks or outposts.
Can be turned off if the alarm gets annoying, or If you think its OP. (turned off by default, button is on the sonar station)
*Railgun arm switch in command room. Useful to keep scrubs from randomly launching your nuclear shells!
*Toggleable searchlights around the sub that follows coilgun movement.
*Gun lights drain a small amount of power, turn off the lights to charge your guns slightly faster in a pinch.

--Other:--
*Open ballast tanks in the keelson. Easy access and drainage.
*Doors with automatic flood protection. Leave them open, they will close when detecting water.
Proximity sensors will override the system if you stand close to the door, so no risk of getting trapped.
*Extra airlock & docking port underneath. Useful for docking on a wreck or Pirate submarine.
*Small prison cell with waterboarding system!

*Many visual updates to match my current submarine builds: hidden all wires, changed inside lighting, switched some backgrounds, edited lables, control panel rework, proximity sonar rework etc...

*removed excess inventory space and containers left from the time before item stacking

Separated Coilgun loaders to enable gun swapping.
Updated to new Railgun Loader.
Removed excess storage space (I.e Welding fuel cabinet, fuel rods cabinet, The two large cabinets in the ballast), Lost their purpose when Item stacking became a thing a while back...
Moved All shelves up from the water to prevent instant exploding chemicals during transport missions
Connected all Depth Charge Loaders to the tube (because why not?)

-Fixed waypoint in lower Airlock (Thanks to 'Arby the Seadragon' for finding the problem and solution)
-Proximity Sonar now only reacts to monsters, not fellow humans
-Added switch for gun lights in command

-Removed the Reactor Mode Switch due to it causing more confusion than being useful.
-Added battery charge switch in it's stead.
-Fixed bug that made the proximity sonar keep flashing after being turned off.

Hey there, Very cool submarine, however I am a captain and I can't manage to open the safe next to it ? Did I miss something ? Thanks.

humm how you turn on the railgun, i throw the switch message still says 'disarmed' and railgun has no power

Of course, it won't look much like your version of the submarine anymore (especially because of the decoration of the environment and the rearrangement of objects), but can I publish a mod with our changes? Of course, I will point out that this is a reworking of your submarine and that this is an amateur version. We just really would like to show what we have achieved during the whole time of playing on it and constant improvements.

Hello!
I've known this boat since I first started playing this game. I really, really like this submarine and my friends and I have a lot of good things about it! I know its pros and cons. And my friends and I made our own type based on your submarine.
She has a lot of new things on her ship: automatic doors and water sensors to lock them, a built-in small capsule, automatic docking, 3 different types of weapons, stronger armor, automation against balanced flora (dedicated undermining of pumps at any moment, which is not surprising), updated furnishings and more boxes for things. There's a lot more there, I can't list it all.
