Inspired by many classic Sci-Fi Universes such as Star Trek, Star Wars and Wing Commander, the Fenrir and fighters are ships I sketched roughly 20 years ago. It's extremely cool to finally build and fly them in full scale =)

The Fenrir is fairly nimble for it's size, has a cargo bay that can house a few small fighters and plenty of rooms to explore throughout it's six decks. Once starship weapons are available for use, this blockade runner will pack a pretty mean punch =)

Please say a nice word or two if you have the time to check it out. It's appreciated!!

Update / WiP 03/11/14 :The cruiser and it's fighters are still not quite done! The patch made missiles explode too close launch point again (after it worked before) I plan to have a working hangar bay door for the Fenrir and the Condor II, eventually a Tomahawk Heavy Fighter, some integration for a conveyor to the turrets / engines, among other things. With the hidden 'rounded edges' blocks that will likely be added soon, it's all gonna be refined even more!

It's a shame that one of the updates makes stacking engines a bad idea. Although thruster damage can be changed back to null in the settings.

Over all though I love this ship. It isn't just a hull with the bits laid out and it isn't just flashy nothing. The design tells the tale of what the ship is and the thought put into it. It wouldn't be hard imagining this ship on its mission with a crew moving about it working, living in it.

I hope we see the day when such imaginings are actual gameplay.

Dude, very well done. I really like when something's been thought through like this. Some of the crew quarters on one of the decks have interesting shapes that I'm not absolutely in love with, but it's cool overall. I really like the use of catwalk/deck plating as walls- I haven't really tried that yet... you pull it off very nicely. I also like the feel of some of those deck plates as beds. :) Also, nice use of varied lighting colors. I really feel like it's a complete vessel (every bit of space is available for use)... and I really feel like there's lighting and deck coloring to guide me on where I am. Oh, also, yeah, hella maneuverable for a large ship. Well done there!

I dare say we think similarly... I'd love some thoughts/feedback from you on a ship I uploaded (Hermes Mk-I). :)

Definitely looks cool, and has a great interier. I wonder what you think about the light armor? Personally I almost exclusivley use heavy armor as light armor seems almost useless against rockets. My "destroyers" weigh more like 17M KGs because of this. I really have no idea if this is plausible or if that would require too many resources to be a realistic ship. Do we havre any info about the economy and ship scale that is expected?

Thanks! The beauty is this ship has space for just those things, so I'll be working on that for sure. Every update SE gets, I'll improve the ship accordingly =)

do you have any main containers & conveyors to feed the guns&engines& other stuff?
