How to effectively use this guide

Welcome to this guide! This section will give you a brief overview of what to expect and how to play as efficient as possible. Remember that you can always post a comment in case you have any questions.

Priority achievements

There are achievements with a high priority, found in the first section, which you should complete first. Whenever an achievement states the word "all" (for example: buy all garages), it only takes in account the current map. If you don't have any map expansions installed, you will obviously have a smaller map. This means less distance, less cities and less tasks to worry about. For this guide I assume you want to be as efficient as possible, so I will only tell you what to do in the base map for these achievements.

If you already played with map expansions on your save, disabling them again unfortunately doesn't work. You either need to complete the achievement for your particular map (which can increase the required effort by many fold) or start a new save.

Downloadable content

To 100% this game you need to acquire quite some downloadable content (DLC). This can be quite costly, especially if you have a lower budget. Luckily they are really often on sale with discounts of up to 70%, so keep an eye out for them if you want to save yourself some money. New achievements are expected with future DLC, so you might need to acquire some more later.

Build your economy

Quite early in the game you are given the option to unlock extra garage slots, new trucks and hire drivers. You should invest in this as soon as possible. Hiring a lot of drivers will give you a ton of money and having skilled drivers is also required for some achievements. Eventually you will end up with millions or even billions of cash. This allows you to buy any garage in the game to quickly get to wherever you need to be for an achievement. The type of truck your drivers use doesn't influence anything, so I always go for the cheapest vehicle, which is the Iveco Stralis.

Job requirements

Unless specifically stated by the achievement, you can pick any company as starting / delivery point and deliver any type of cargo. You can use your own truck, external contracts or just do a quick job. If you need to make use of a specific company, then the guide will show the logo of that particular company.

Perfect deliveries require you to be on time, get no fines and not take any damage. Time isn't really strict in the game, so you can probably ignore it. Fines can be disabled in the gameplay settings if you wish. You get fines for things like speeding or running a red light. As for the damage: only damage to the cargo is taken into account. If you take any damage to your truck or trailer it's no problem at all, even if they are not owned by you.

Any achievement related to distance only accounts for the distance traveled by road. Any distance covered by for example ferries will be ignored. The travel distance by road is shown on the top right of the map when you select a new job.

In cases where you need to do a list of jobs in a specific order, or do things in consecutive jobs of a specific type, it's in most cases perfectly fine to do other jobs/achievements in between halfway and continue later. Personally I recommend against doing so though, as it's pretty easy to lose track, especially with the more complex ones.

Priority

Note: You should first play the game without any map expansions installed and get the following achievements. After unlocking everything in this section you can enable any map expansion.

I am a GPS

Discover more than 60% of the map.

Pathfinder

Discover 100% of the map.

Let's get started with the most tedious achievement. You need to drive over every road, turning them from light gray to yellow on the navigation. This includes every company in every city, all highway intersections (might take you multiple passes), gas stations and all secondary roads.

This achievement will take dozens of hours to complete, and probably will be the reason why you won't 100% this game if you are not dedicated to it. If you play with the map expansions, you are probably looking at something like four times as much time required to complete this.

I did it the following way: whenever I visited a city for the first time I would drive around all companies and streets within that city to unlock them. This way I mainly had the highways and national roads left. If I got a new job to a city where I already unlocked the highway, I would add extra destination points in the navigation to force myself to use the national roads or secondary routes. When you pass a gas station or resting place and you already unlocked the main road, take a small detour even if you don't have any business there. Eventually you will just have a handful of roads left and you can just use free roam to unlock those. If you are stuck at 99.9% and don't know what you missed, you can install the mod below which makes it easier to spot the missing pieces.

Property Magnate

Own a garage in every city.

Every city has exactly one garage, and you need to buy them all. They cost 180k to unlock and upgrading them is not required. There are also some other named locations on the map, like towns, harbours or industry. These have a smaller circle and smaller name tag. These locations do not have a garage.

Head Hunter

Discover all recruitment agencies.

These show up as grey icons with a question mark, which unlock when you get near. They are available in most cities, though not all of them. Driving by is enough, but you need to enter the property for the Pathfinder achievement anyway.

Successfully Docked

Use all ports.

The base game luckily doesn't have that many ports, so it's just a short list. You only need to pass them in one direction of your liking.

Driver Exceptionnel

Complete deliveries on all oversize routes.

This achievement is actually part of the Special Transport DLC, but since it is related to the map size you should also do this first. You need to complete the following routes. Each starting location will always have two jobs available. Tip: you should combine this with Minimaxer and the other special transport achievements as much as possible, since those achievements also use these routes.

Base Game

Friends are always here to help you

Use automatic parking.

When finishing a job you are given 2-3 options on where to park your trailer, each with increasing difficulty and bonus XP. For this achievement you need to pick the option which doesn't give any XP, as it will park the trailer for you.

Diesel, no petrol!

Use a filling station.

Can't be missed, as you probably need to refuel your truck after your first few small jobs, and you can't continue the game without doing so.

Zzzzz

Use a rest stop.

In most cities and near most highway fuel stations you can find parking places with a hotel bed icon. Simply park your truck there, turn off the engine and wait for a prompt to start sleeping. If the prompt doesn't show up, your character probably isn't sleepy yet and you need to drive a bit more. Also make sure you didn't turn off fatigue simulation in the gameplay settings.

Sardine

Utilize a boat.

The base game has four different ferries to pick from. You can check Successfully Docked for the locations. If you are playing with map expansions you will have a ton more options. Just look for dashed lines on the map to find cities with a ferry.

Honey, I'm home

Use quick travel to return to your headquarters.

Open the map, select your headquarters and then press the travel option, which will cost you some time and money. Your headquarters is the garage you picked as starting location when you first started your save and will have a different icon on the map.

Choo-choo

Use the train to cross the channel.

The channel train is located between Calais and Dover, as you probably already know.

From the comfort of your home

Buy a truck online.

Use the "Buy Online" option in the dealer overview when looking for a new truck. You need to own at least five trucks to enable this feature.

My Precious

Design and apply to your truck a custom multi-color metallic paint.

One of the first customization options is metallic paint. Just pick any color. Other paint jobs which can be recolored do not count.

Test Drive Limited

Drive at least 999 km during jobs with each truck brand featured in the game.

You need to drive 999 kilometer with each brand. Free roam doesn't count, and you actually need to own the truck. I just bought a new truck, did some jobs, gave it to an employee and then acquired a new truck. The following brands are available in the game:

Base Game (Continued)

Careerist

Complete five jobs in a row - in-time, without taking any damage to cargo and without using autoparking.

You can just take some really short jobs within the same city to easily get this.

Job is only worth it if it's done well!

Complete a perfect delivery for a job that is at least 1.000 km.

Long Hauler

Complete a delivery which is longer than 2.000 km.

Profit Hunter

Complete a job worth over €130.000 and longer than 2.200 km.

You can combine these three in one delivery. You need to have six points in the Long Distance skill before you get such long jobs though. These are more likely to show up in cities near the border of the map and show up more frequently if you have map expansions installed.

Reliable Contractor

Perform jobs for at least 15 different companies.

All is possible

Take and complete jobs with at least 30 different cargo.

To be honest you don't even need to try to get these. You will get them eventually when going for all the other achievements. If you really want to get it as quickly as possible you could write down which jobs you did and choose new jobs based on that list.

Experience beats all!

Complete deliveries with all trailer types.

There are eight trailer types according to the achievement, but it's sometimes unclear while playing which trailer counts for which category. If you instead opt for using each cargo filter category at least once you are guaranteed to get the achievement. Another option is to simply ignore this achievement, because you will definitely get it while going for all other achievements. The following filter categories are available:

Minimaxer

Gain 20.000 XP for several consecutive jobs with the total distance below 10.000 km.

This one tends to be a bit nasty, as you need to earn 2 XP per kilometer, while you only get 1 XP per kilometer. To cover that difference you need to rely on bonuses from cargo types, job priority, distance and parking. But that's just such a hassle to keep track of. Do it the easy way: special transport jobs give more than 2 XP per kilometer without the need to take any bonuses in account. Just keep doing those jobs repeatedly (and you might as well grab some of those achievements along the way) and you will get this with little trouble.

Just in time!

Take an urgent delivery for a minimum of 550 km and complete it with less than 30 minutes remaining.

First start an urgent job (indicated by three red arrows) with the minimum distance. You need at least two points in the Just-In-Time Delivery skill to make these jobs show up. Time isn't really strict in this game, so you probably will arrive way in time. If you are too early, just wait in the city till there's less than 30 minutes left. Don't wait on the company's property, as time progresses much slower there. The game starts playing some background music when time is almost out, and this is probably the only time you will ever hear it.

National Company

Own a garage in every city in your headquarter country.

Can be unlocked instantly by picking Luxembourg as your headquarters. In any other case you will get this eventually by buying all garages in the map. Smaller countries are of course easier.

Swimming in success

Reach an average daily profit of €450.000.

Performance Optimizer

Achieve at least 75% of the average garage productivity for 10 large garages in your company.

Working with the elite

Achieve 100% of productivity for at least 5 large garages at the same time.

Aspects of professionalism

Have at least 10 female and 10 male employees of maximum level in your company.

As long as you keep investing in new garages and employees whenever you can, you don't really have to put effort into this. As you progress you will get hundreds of employees. By just playing and fast traveling around you will get these eventually before finishing the other achievements.

Parking Challenge

Complete 20 deliveries choosing the trailer delivery option which requires reversing.

For this achievement you must not use autoparking to complete a job and pick the option that requires you to reverse at least once. Usually this is the most difficult option. The amount of XP you get for parking does not matter.

Driving Academy

Get the ball rollin'

Complete the first scenario of the first chapter in Truck Driving Basics.

Dedicated Student

Complete at least 28 scenarios in Truck Driving Basics including the final exams.

There are 31 scenarios in the Truck Driving Basics training program, but you need to do all prior scenarios before you can do the exams, so you basically need to do them all. Take your time, you don't really have to hurry. Some chapters have restrictions for other achievements which you can find below. Make sure to follow all instructions, even when they seem silly, as failing to do so will end the scenario.

Rowing through the gears

Complete 20 scenarios in chapters two, three or four using manual transmission in Truck Driving Basics.

Assuming you play with automatic transmission (default): before starting chapter two go to the menu, click options and then controls. Under the section transmission set the mode from Simple Automatic to Sequential. I also recommend setting Smart Sequential Shifting enabled. When using this mode you sometimes automatically shift multiple gears based on your speed, so it makes it a bit easier. This still counts for the achievement. Then proceed to play using shift/ctrl to shift up/down. There are 24 scenarios in the three chapters combined, so you can do a few with automatic transmission if you struggle. Doing the same scenario over and over does not work.

Failure is not an option

Complete any 5 scenarios in a row without failure from the third or fourth chapter in Truck Driving Basics.

Just follow the instructions and don't mess up! If you go really slow it ain't that difficult. You need to do five unique scenarios for this to count. The first five scenarios of chapter three are fairly easy so they are a good option, but pick whatever suits you.

One-shottin' it

Complete any scenario in fourth chapter of Truck Driving Basics in one attempt without correcting by driving forward.

In the first scenario of chapter four you basically have to move backwards in a straight line so this is really easy to accomplish. If you still struggle, just go really slow and adjust accordingly.

Professional Driver

Complete at least 6 scenarios in the fourth chapter of Truck Driving Basics while using only the interior camera.

Don't press any of the numeric keys to change your camera and you are good to go. The first few scenarios are shorter and easier, but again pick anything that suits you.

DLC - Heavy Cargo Pack

Time for big hauling

Deliver your first heavy cargo.

I thought this should be heavy?!

Complete the delivery of all heavy cargoes.

There are eight different cargoes. There are also various tank and linked trailers which have the heavy cargo symbol due to their weight. These do not count for the achievements and can be ignored.

Simply pick five cargoes from the list above which add up to 250 or more tons. You can use the same type of cargo multiple times.

Keep calm and haul heavy

Complete a perfect delivery of three consecutive heavy cargo jobs

Distance doesn't matter, so just grab a few short jobs to make it easier.

You bet I can park it!

Collect 1.000 XP from parking on heavy cargo deliveries.

This is the XP you get by not using the autoparking tool. It's anywhere between 15 and 90 XP for each job. You don't have to do this consecutively.

DLC - Special Transport

Size Matters

Deliver your first oversize cargo.

There's also an achievement which requires you to complete all special transport routes. Since this is related to the map size, you can find this achievement in the priority section.

Big Brother

Complete the delivery of the Haul Truck Chassis.

Giant

Complete the delivery of the Silo.

Not a canoe

Complete the delivery of the Service Boat.

The bigger the better

Complete the delivery of all oversize cargoes.

You need to deliver the following cargo. For some reason the Service Boat was really rare for me and would only show up for the route starting in Brussels, but this might be coincidence. It's great to combine this with the achievement to drive all routes.

Simply pick three cargoes from the list above which add up to 195 or more tons. You can use the same type of cargo multiple times. There's only a very limited selection that works, which I think is kinda stupid. Two of the three deliveries must always be heat exchangers. The third one must either be another heat exchanger, an industrial condenser or a haul truck chassis.

Not a big problem

Complete three consecutive oversize jobs without any damage.

Shouldn't be too difficult as the speed is really low and the escort vehicles will clear the road.

DLC - Scandinavia

The bridge is located on highway E20 between Copenhagen and Malmö.

Scania Trucks Lover

Deliver truck cargo from the Scania factory.

There's only one Scania factory in the game. The cargo should be two trucks on a flatbed.

Deliver truck cargo from the Volvo factory.

There's only one Volvo factory in the game. The cargo should be two trucks on a flatbed.

Landmark Tour

Discover all landmarks in France.

There are various landmarks to be found next to the road in France. You simply need to drive past them. The following landmarks can be found:

There are five nuclear plants in France. They are located at named locations with a smaller name tag, which indicate there is no garage available.

There are seven truck stops in France. This achievement is much harder than the other similar ones, as these jobs tend to be really rare. Your best option is probably to look for a quick job. You need at least one point in the ADR skill related to fuel. Make sure you also get the correct type of cargo as listed in the description. Sometimes you will see jobs with different ADR cargo, but those won't count. All of them are located near a highway and not really in a city, but you need to look for the following destinations:

Imperator

Discover all Italian cities.

Visit all cities in Italy. Some northern cities of Italy are also available in the base game, but are still required for the achievement. Their name will turn yellow on the map when you did so. This also includes small towns or harbours without garage.

True Sicilian

Own a garage in every Sicilian city.

Sicilia is the island south of mainland Italy. There are only three cities on the island.

Mind the lava

Visit the Etna and Vesuvius volcanoes.

You simply need to drive past these two famous volcanoes. Etna can be found on Sicilia along highway A18, south of Messina. The Vesuvius is located along highway A2 south east of Naples.

Michelangelo

Complete a delivery from the Carrara quarry.

The quarry is not named Carrara anywhere in the game. It just uses one of the generic fictional companies in the game. You just need to know which one you need to start at for the achievement. The quarry is located north of the city.

• Livorno

Many roads lead to Rome

Enter Rome through all corridors that lead to it.

Corridors can be read as highway in this case. There are four highways which lead into Rome, you just have to use each of them at least once.

Deliver cargo to all Italian shipyards.

There are three shipyards in Italy, but you only need to visit two for the achievement. The one in Olbia on Sardinia was introduced after the initial release of the achievement, and is not required due to that.

Grand Tour

Complete perfect deliveries between Baltic countries

Deliveries must be made between these countries. The order and direction doesn't matter. There are more combinations possible, but you only have to do the ones listed below.

I highly recommend making a list for yourself to note which jobs you already completed, as it is really easy to lose track on this one.

Visit all cities in Road to the Black Sea. For this expansion that means all cities in Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey. Their name will turn yellow on the map when you did so. This also includes small towns or harbours without garage.

Along the black sea

Complete perfect deliveries between coastal cities.

Deliveries must be made between these cities located along the Black Sea. The order and direction doesn't matter. There are more combinations possible, but you only have to do the ones listed below.

• Constanța ⇔ Mangalia

• Varna ⇔ Burgas
  
• Burgas ⇔ Istanbul

This achievement can be a bit painful due to two reasons. The first problem is that the first three cities are really close to each other (around 50km) and short jobs tend to be more rare. You can increase the odds by going to gameplay settings and set that you prefer short distances. The second problem is that Mangalia isn't really a city and has just one company. It's really hard to get a job to either of the two required cities. The easiest way is to put Mangalia as destination for both Constanta and Varna.

Ranger

Visit all border crossings between Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey.

Actually this all comes down to visiting all the border crossings of Bulgaria, since that country is located in the middle of these countries. There's a total of five. They are indicated by a dark blue symbol with a customs officer, which can be found in these locations:

• South of Craiova
  
• Between Bucharest and Ruse
  
• Between Mangalia and Varna
  
• North of Edirne (two crossings)

Ferryman

Use a river ferry.

The ferry is located in Romania, south of Galați.

Taking the scenic route

Visit landmarks in Balkan countries.

There are various landmarks to be found next to the road in Balkan countries. You simply need to drive past them. The following landmarks can be found:

Going Camping

Deliver cargo to complete a campervan production chain.

This is all about simulating a full production chain, requiring you to move various cargo required for each step to make campervans in the correct order. Only the starting point is of importance. It needs to be a specific type of cargo from a specific company for each step. By using the search bar on the top right when selecting a job you can easily filter for the correct cargo.

For step 1 and step 2 you need to use the same company as starting point. First you need to deliver Ore, followed by Aluminium Ingots.

There are two olive farms in Greece. While at first glance this looks like the average cargo delivery achievement, this one is actually quite strict. You need to take the following into account:

1. You need to start from a specific company.
   
2. The destination needs to be within Greece.
   
3. Each destination must be a different city.
   
4. The cargo needs to be olives or olive oil.

Have fun reloading the job list a ton of times to get a delivery that matches all requirements.

Temple Worthy

Deliver 3 Marble Blocks and 3 undamaged Marble Slabs from quarries in Greece.

There are four quarries in Greece. The marble cargo has different models in the game, so sometimes it can be hard to tell what counts as a block or slab. When in doubt, just check the cargo description to be sure. For this achievement the quarries below are the starting point. There's also an other company in Greece offering marble deliveries, but those don't count. You need to pick from the list below.

@Krlutin It used to be one direction, but I did it back in 2018, so maybe they changed some stuff. Perhaps you can verify whether the base game has a new harbour not listed there? Sometimes updates change the requirements of the achievements. For example a couple years ago they added the ferry in Travemünde in the base game, requiring you to hit another harbour for the achievement.

It's always a bit of a pain to verify it myself as I can't earn achievements again. I always rely on reports like yours for things like this, so thanks for mentioning.

I think "successfully docked" needs to be updated, it needs to be done both ways on each dock/ferry.

I've done em all one way and didnt get it, further googling suggests both ways is needed, might wanna check on that.

@Xu No problem, that's what the comment section is for x). There are 10 filter categories and only 8 trailer types, so you don't always need them all depending on which jobs you took.

Oh and one more thing! I only own the base game so I don't have access to Special Transport jobs (choosing this filter in the job market yields zero job postings) but I was able to get this achievement anyway, so I'm pretty certain this job type isn't part of the requirements. (Sorry for so many comments haha, I hope you don't mind. :))

Thanks for the clarification Taggrin! I found out that the achievement wasn't as simple as its description suggested after leaving my previous comment here. In my case, I was stuck at 7/8 despite having done all eight categories in its description. I searched online for tips and in the end, I had to do a Livestock (live pigs) job, which counted as Fragile in-game, in order to finally get the achievement.

@Xu That's correct, however the game is a bit unclear on what exactly counts as what type of cargo. For example sometimes a cargo can have the fragile symbol, but still won't count for the fragile category, and vice versa. If you pick one of each filter category you are guaranteed to get it. In the end it doesn't really matter that much as you will get it anyway before getting all achievements, but I will alter the text to make it more clear.
