Hello everyone and welcome back to another year of FM!

First off I just want to say a massive thank you to the 86,892 people that downloaded my SE7EN’s Kloppdiola Attack 4-2-3-1 Attack in FM20! I got so many messages from people all over the world who told me about the success they had from using my tactic. It was really cool to hear their stories and share our passion of FM together.

My tactic is based on Guardiola & Klopp’s high press, tika taka, possession, attacking style. I have made a few slight changes from last year, but I’m delighted to announce that the tactic is still as amazing as ever. If you use my tactic, the club you manage will start to favor the following:

✔️ High Tempo Pressing Football

To install the tactic:

Frequently Asked Questions:

The only position roles that can be changed are the LW & RW. Currently its set to Inverted Wingers on both sides however Inside Forwards work just as good. Do not change any of the other roles or individual player instructions.

Yes, the tactic get’s more yellow cards than other tactics. It’s an aggressive tactic but it’s rare to get a red card. Individual player instructions are set to Tackle Harder and Mark Tighter combined with the Get Stuck In on top of that. I’ve tested the tactic without these on and it’s not as strong so do not change the settings.

I delegate all jobs to my staff apart from team talks, transfers/contracts for players and hiring of staff.

Tactical Briefings and Opposition instructions are assigned to a member of staff with high Tactical Coaching and Tactical Knowledge. Make sure you hire a Assistant Manager or Coach who is 15+ in this area and set them to take care of this. If your club are in the lower leagues then just hire the best you can get until you move up the leagues.

I only choose players for my starting eleven who have the new green thumbs up “Sharp” fitness level. If your players are not “Sharp” I would suggest right clicking that player and make him available to play in your Under 23’s team to improve their fitness. I also bring them on as sub after 60 minutes to slowly blood them into the team. Once they have the green Sharp thumbs up, it’s ok to start them in a match.

A few tips 🔥🔥🔥

1) Morale seriously effects the game now so make sure your doing everything possible to keep spirits high. For example:

A: (When it pops up in news) praise the player who trained well every week and criticize the player who performed worst. Overtime you will notice no players will perform badly anymore as the team becomes more disciplined.

B: (When it pops up in news) praise the player who perform well in your last match.

C: If a player isn't scoring speak to him individually and say "you have faith in him to get back to scoring ways" this improves his morale and often he starts scoring again.

D) Dynamics > Team meeting = a great way to boost the morale of your whole team when they need a lift. You can't use this often though so make sure to save it for when it’s really needed or before a crucial game.

2) Keep an eye of the average rating of your players over the last 5 games. If a player’s form is declining give another player a chance. I often bench a player for 1 or 2 games and then bring him back in the squad and then his performances improves.

3) Go to your dynamics tab and look at your managerial support. If your “Managerial Support” is in the red it means currently the players don't trust you. Don't be harsh on them during team talks whilst in the red else they will quickly lose faith in you and morale will drop fast.

4) Click on the league your in. Go to where it says "Overview" then "Season Preview". Here you will see the predicted finish for all the teams based on the quality of the players in each team. What’s great about this tab is that as each team improves or declines the table changes accordingly. If your not in the top 6 of the predicted table then you need to sign some new players. You can't expect any tactic to turn you crap players into a dream team. I spend a lot of time scouring the transfer market and send scouts out to watch each country.

5) When you start a new season arrange friendly's against sides that are slightly lower reputation than your club. Winning all your pre-season matches will start the season with high morale and increase the chance of getting off to a good start.

6) Hire good staff. High discipline and motivational attributes are key for coaches. I always buy players under the age of 23 and make sure my staff are quality. This way as the season goes on my players stats improve faster. If you have money in your bank ask your board to improve the training ground also. This quickens the speed of how fast your players improve.

7) Switching to my tactic mid season will most likely not bring you results straight away. Your players need time to learn the tactic and become fluid with their new roles and positions. I highly suggest learning any tactic during pre-season. Play at least 6-7 friendlies in pre-season to help you players gain good tactical familiarity.
