Edelgard (Post And Pre-Timeskip) (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)

Hello, everyone! I'm back with another model,this one completing the trio of Post-Timeskip 3 Houses lords with Edelgard, leader of the black eagle house! I was originally going to do just the Post-Timeskip model, but the person who comissioned me to port this model asked for both versions to be ported. This was quite a challenge to port, so let me know if there are any issues you experience so that I may fix them.



As we all know, Edelard is the leader of the Black Eagle house and heir to the Adrestian Imperial throne, so let's get a little deeper into the backstory. During her childhood, she would meet and befriend a boy named Dimitri, who of course is the same Dimitri we know from the Blue Lions house. Little did he know, she was actually his step-sister, a fact that he wouldn't learn till much later. The reason for this was because her mother, who was presumed dead at the time, had actually fled to the holy kingdom of Faerghus and married Dimitri's father, King Lambert, and thus became Dimitri's step-mother. Anyways, Edelgard and Dimitri would soon be seperated, as Lord Arundel, Edelgard's uncle, who had been raising her at the time, would be returning her to the empire after having been in hiding. This would prove to be all the worse for Edelgard, as she would later be subjected to experiments alongside her siblings by Those Who Slither In The Dark, not unlike the experiments that Lysithea had endured. Edelgard would come out as the sole survivor, and on top of her crest of serios, she would also bear the legendary crest of flames. However, the power of 2 crests comes at cost, as her hair turned a pale white, and her lifespan was greatly reduced.

Years later, after Edelgard turned 17, she would enroll in the Garreg Mach Officer's Academy. However, she would grow to hate the impact that crests would have on society, leading her to a new goal. Destroy the Church Of Serios for spreading the worship of crests and take over all of Fodlan as the Adrestian emperor to establish a new rule. She would unknowingly find herself partnering with TWSITD to aid her goal. She would don the alias of the Flame Emperor and would make multiple attempts on the lives of those who work for the church and the future leaders of the other territories to exact her plan.

Eventually, after a raid on the holy mausoleum whilst Byleth is performing a ritual to recieve a vision of their destiny, Edelgard's identity as the Flame Emperor is discovered, but discovered too late, as by this time, Edelgard had already ascended to the Adrestian Throne. If sides with the black eagles at the start of the game and chooses to side with Edelgard at this, they're both branded as traitors by the church and go on to face them after the timeskip.

I don't know much about what happens next, as I haven't played the Crimson Flower route yet, but here's what I do know. If the player sides with the church, or chose either of the other 2 houses at the start of the game, then Edelgard becomes the new main villain, and sends Empire forces to seize the church and kidnap Lady Rhea and then wage war on all of Fodlan. Byleth would aid in defending the monastery, however, Edelgard would ultimately succeed after Byleth is sent tumbling down a cliff, rendering them unconscious for 5 years. Eventually Byleth would reawake and return to the ruins of the church and eventually find their former students, and team up with the leader pf the house they joined and the church to take down Edelgard. Though if playing on the Silver Snow route, Byleth just teams up with the church and their former students.

Eventually, Byleth and their allies would go on to seize the imperial capital Enbarr, and defeat Edelgard and the Empire once and for all. However, even after death, Edelgard's work was not finished. Her accomplise, Hubert, leaves a note for Byleth and their allies, instructing them to find Those Who Slither In The Dark and destroy them once and for all before they can harm anyone else. You see, Edelgard, during this 5 year timespan, had learned the identities of TWSITD as the ones who conducted those horrific experiments on her long ago, and had planned to turn on them and root them out for good. Something not really possible if you're dead. So she had a backup plan ready, having Hubert write the note just in case the Empire loses the war and she dies.This would pay off, as Byleth and their forces would eventually make their way to Shambala, home of TWSITD and take them down.

Q: Is this some kind of twisted joke?!
A: No, this is very real. You now have the ability to have PTS Edelgard in SFM.

Q: Will you do his brave alt/promotion? What about her Hegemon Husk/ Flame Emperor forms?
A: No, or at last, not until I can find or have the actual models for them made.

Q: Should we expect more FE Content?
A: Yes. Expect more characters and items in the future. However, don't expect it to be next.

Q: What models will be next?
A: I'll actually be taking a break from model ports for now due to holidays. But when I return, if I do, it will more than likely be Hector next. But I actually plan on my next model to come from another Nintendo IP. i'm not gonna say who it is, but in order to port it, I'm going to need some real strong ARMS to do so.

Q: Will you do non-FE content?
A: See above.
