Amphion - Newt - Respawn Crawler

Amphion is proud to present the Newt Crawler, a barebones basic large grid design balanced for surviving just about any environment you throw it in. Drop it from orbit and watch it reach the ground gracefully as its chute deploys from center mass. It travels safely at 150km/h, and its suspension gives it plenty of travel height. It is accessible from the ground, and you can refuel it while standing underneath it using ice.

The Newt weighs in at 94,000 kg, compared to its bigger brother the Bullfrog, at 324,000 kg. It is designed for a single operator, but expandability and usability is a given with this being your first crawler in a new expedition.

There are no weapons on it, so be careful about wandering too close to pirate drone bases while planet-side.

Behind the Name
The common name for a subset of salamanders, the newt is a very prolific species, living on most continents (excluding Antarctica), the name was chosen for how widespread newts are.
