Update 02.02.2021: I changed a frame duration setting that caused the dancing robot on the right side to move way too fast

Update 26.11.2020: you can now zoom the wallpaper in or out if it does not exactly fit your resolution

Hey guys,

long time no see in the land of wallpapers. Was a bit busy learning new tricks in a couple of new tools I got some time ago and not much in the mood for week or even month long Wallpaper Engine projects. So I started this little fun project for myself where I just wanted to spice up my favorite music player AIMP with some dancing characters and WE particle systems while I listen to my music.

This would have looked weird to everyone else who not uses AIMP with the exact retro cassette skin because then all charaters kinda hover on your desktop. As time went by I thought why not rebuild the AIMP skin in Wallpaper Engine with some of the internal audio fx AIMP offers so other people can enjoy it too.

After the wallpaper was finished I did the math and recognized that it turned out to be a two month+ work once again. :-D

Anyways...maybe you would like to check it out, have some fun with this wallpaper and if the audio effects are a bit too much you can turn off a lot of stuff in the settings or just enter your name and make it your personal mixtape.

btw: a spooky, invisible ghost stole the dancing robots cloth and shows up from time to time to mimic his dance moves. :-)
