Never used the blue funnel and in the end the cube was just barely laying on the button for the elevator. I doubt I solved this the intended way, but it worked. For obtaining the cube I used a horizontal funnel, this funnel gives the cube some momentum, and just before the cube passes through te portal shoot another portal. If you timed everything correctly you will now have the cube.

I'm not sure I did either half correctly. I got the cube by placing an orange funnel horizontal near the vertical funnel, and walking from one to the other . I got the ending by pinning the cube high with the blue funnel, making a mad dash for the exit and cancelling the funnel, letting the cube drop on the button. If there's a different way, I'll replay for the intended solution. Thanks!
