David Flair

The son of the legendary Nature Boy, David Flair entered WCW in early 1999 with an unmatched pedigree. He immediately drew the attention of the nWo, who beat him down and whipped him after Souled Out.

A month later, David turned heel by joining the nWo Wolfpac, but rarely appeared for a few months after using a taser on his father during a match against Hollywood Hogan.

When David returned, he made up with his father, who was then the acting WCW Commissioner. Ric stripped Scott Steiner of the United States Championship and awarded the title to his son, who was able to retain the belt for a month with the help of the Four Horsemen.

After Ric was beaten up by DDP and (kayfabe) left injured, David began to go insane, moving him towards a new crazy gimmick that eventually saw him team up with Crowbar and Daffney. The team briefly held tag team gold after winning a tournament to crown new WCW World Tag Team Champions.

After WCW closed in 2001, David trained in OVW and made a few appearances in WWE and TNA. He mostly retired in 2003, making a few appearances per year before retiring for good in 2008.
