Description
Retaining Walls

Prolog

Hello all together !

Here I have some very simple retaining walls for you !
The package consists of 11 "different" versions, which all share
the same textures!

I´ve been sitting on these for almost a year and I´ve now decided
to share them with you.

As I said, very simple, but they might also be an addition to the
already existing versions in the workshop. At least in my opinion. :)

About the models

They all uses the same 1024² texture for the main models.
This texture is also used within other assets from me.
(e.g. bridge models of the small us roads, concrete tram track)

The same texture will be used in some new roads, which havent been uploaded
yet. With the help of the Loading Screen Mod you´ll only need
3 MB of RAM !

  • plain/blank version (almost like a concrete block with a flat top side)
  • narrow version (width of 0.5 meter)
  • wall version (small wall on top)
  • wall version 1/2 (half the width of the normal version)
  • fence version#01 (chainlink fence on top)
  • fence version#01 1/2
  • fence version#02 (palisade fence on top)
  • fence version#02 1/2
  • soundwall version#01 (soundwall on top/the same as on the concrete highways)
  • soundwall version#01 1/2
  • wall version with grass top

  • 3 MB per network (I highly suggest the usage of LSM !) --> only 3 MB in total with LSM !

The base versions come with a width of 8 meters. The half version have, guess what,
half the width of the base versions. ;)

You´ll find them under the ped pathways tab.

Recommendations

As always ;)

That would be very much appreciated !!! :)

And if you want to buy me a cup of coffee to keep me awake during the long night shifts
you can do that here ...cup of coffee...[paypal.me] only if you want of course. ;)

Plus, suggestions are always welcome ! :)

Wíth best regards ... :)

The invert segment on network multitool doesn't change the side the fence is on it just sorta flips the texture of the wall, not sure if that's only affecting me or not.

@Stuwot hi, Netwo4k Multitool has an option to invert a segment.
@scoobyduped Indeed the resaon for that could be on th3 assets side ... in game (engine wise) its a "path", because "decorative networks" in CS can only contain one 3d-model. Thats probably the reason why it isn t shown in IMT.... don't know if IMT also works for pathways... due to your question I guess it doesn't ...

These aren't showing up as decorative networks in Intersection Marking Tool. Any reason that could be on the asset side?

Hello,
is there anyway to flip the side that the barrier is on on placed walls? Much like you can right click on one way roads with the upgrade tool to change their direction?

Thanks!

@NepNep I don't know how someone would take that seriously, it was moderately amusing :P I think you can clear your conscience.

@Robinplayz1999 you didn't take my teasing serious, did you? lmao

"In game" , no. If I'd upload a second version as quays, yes. ;)

Can these be made to work like a quay does?
I place retaining walls, but the ground covers them up.
clus  [author] Feb 20, 2022 @ 7:29am
That could be done .. but it´ll take some time ...

Would it be possible to get a version of the grass with the fences, please?
