Villager Clothes Pack (Animal Crossing: New Horizons)

Description
NOTE: To properly use this addon, material override is used to put clothes textures from other villagers onto the clothes models. Only the models are included and this relies on the textures from my other addons. A short tutorial as well as info on how to use this addon with other villagers and their clothes is below.

Here's a bunch of stand alone clothes you can use with most of my AC:NH villager ports! Now you can customize the villagers even more than before! I've also updated my addons that included villagers with unique accessories so you can use those accessories, too.

Contains:
All clothes models for Alligators, Bears, Birds, Cats, Cubs, Deer, Dogs, Ducks, Eagles, Elephants, Frogs, Goats, Gorillas, Hamsters, Horses, Kangaroos, Koalas, Mice, Monkeys, Octopi, Ostriches, Penguins, Pigs, Rabbits, Sheep, Squirrels, Tigers, and Wolves.
Clothes models are located at catcraze777/animal_crossing/clothes_vill_acnh

How to Use:
Clothes by default will use a blank white texture with a flat normal map. Below is some info for using the clothes, including model format info, model attachment, and material overrides.

Clothes Types:
For non-human villagers, there are two types of clothes with three sleeve lengths each. Tops models are the usual top model used for clothes such as t-shirts, jackets, and tank tops, while Dress models are for dresses and outfits. Also, each model filename ends in a letter which specifies the sleeve length:
  • H - Short Sleeve
  • L - Long Sleeve
  • N - No Sleeves

Attachment:
Attaching the clothes models to the villagers uses the same method as TF2 cosmetics: Just simply drag the villager on the clothes model to lock the clothes bones, then select the clothes model and drag the "Zero" preset slider. Remember to disable selection of the clothes for posing!

Material Overrides:
By default, the clothes models use a blank texture. You can replace it with the clothes textures of any current and future villagers! To start, right click on the clothes model and click "Add Material Override", then open the model in element viewer by right clicking the clothes model and selecting "Open in Element Viewer > Model".

You should see a "Materials" section in the model, which should only contain either an "mTops" or "mTops_D" material.
You can add attributes to this material by right clicking the material then selecting "Add Attribute" to override parts of the material.

Villager Clothes Texture Formats:
Base Texture - models/catcraze777/animal_crossing/villagerName_acnh/mTops_D
Bump/Normal Map - models/catcraze777/animal_crossing/villagerName_acnh/mTops_N
Exponent Texture - models/catcraze777/animal_crossing/villagerName_acnh/mTops_E

Standard Clothes Parameters:
There are two parameters that need to be overrided by the villagers' clothes:

$basetexture - Set this to the base texture of the desired villager. This is a string value.
$bumpmap - Set this to the bump/normal map of the desired villager. This is a string value.

Reflective Clothes Parameters:
Two additional parameters should be used if the clothes is reflective, such as Wolfgang's jacket and Chow's t-shirt.

$phongexponenttexture - Set this to the exponent texture of the desired villager. This is a string value.
$phongboost - The strength of phong shading and specular highlights. You'll want to play with this until it looks fine to you. This is a float value, default is 10.0.

Example:
Below is an example for the parameters to override clothes textures with Chow's t-shirt texture:

$basetexture models/catcraze777/animal_crossing/chow_acnh/mTops_D
$bumpmap models/catcraze777/animal_crossing/chow_acnh/mTops_N
$phongexponenttexture models/catcraze777/animal_crossing/chow_acnh/mTops_E
$phongboost 10.0

Is there a guide or tutorial if I'm using these in Blender (especially for adding the texture/normals/etc)?

You might find help by reading the description of the Complete Clothes Material Pack addon or the clothes texture section of the guide on Human Pack Customization.
A link to the guide is here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2342493347

Yes, I've been working on that for the past month and just posted a dev shot of the clothes models. I still have shoes, bags, hats, and accessories left to do.

Kinda curious catcraze, will you be making a human pack so that people can make their avatars from the game or no?

Good to know its not all my fault, just hope this won't happen for GMod.

Been working with SFM for years and can confirm the way it handles Workshop subscription content is abysmal. I have metadata backlog I have to cancel every time I open it up else I have to redownload the entirety of my subscriptions for no reason.

I do know a quick unsubscribe a proper uninstall, and a reinstall usually fixes a lot of errors. Stability of how it will handle that I don't have good authority on.

Turns out the merging the AC:NH addons could have created SFM updating issues that can result in a crash on launch. SFM could try to update all of my addons you are subscribed to and result in an overload. There is currently no known solution for this but a potential solution could be unsubscribing from all of my addons, running SFM, then resubscribing to them afterwards. If a known solution is discovered, it will be commented on every one of my SFM addons.
