Description
You Will Die!

This mod is aimed at providing a challenge for highly modded games.
It is NOT a balanced experience!

Raids by highly equipped glitterworld raiders and orbital bombardment will threaten your colony.
Events will start 1-2 years into the colony at the earliest.

This mod can be added to any savegame and should work with all mods. Removing it from a savegame will result in red errors but works fine.

Events you can expect:
  • Raid with solar flare - Glitterworld raiders will drop in while your colony suffers a solar-flare-like shutdown due to some energy field used by the raiders.
  • Bomb and Raid - First your colony will be softened up by a brief orbital bombardment before a group of glitterworld raiders drop in.
  • Protection Money - Pay a protection fee within 24 hours or you will be bombed.
  • Random bombardment - Someone doesn't like you and decides to bombard your colony.

The mod should be compatible with all other mods.

Liked the concept, but every raid just being them dropping on top of you gets real boring after a while. I figured they'd at least have some sort of variety to how they would attack you, but a center drop pod raid every time removes any sort of randomness that often makes preparing for raids difficult. Just not quire what I was looking for, really.

I would have loved to include a storyline or something similar but unfortunately I didn't have the time to create one and since this is unpaid work I need to focus on my job and family. I just had the code for the bombardments which I created for a "Go Explore" event laying around and thought it would be interesting to direct it at the players base.

wonderous, the base is flamed out. all dead, so how do I retaliate? Where's their home or is there any line story?
are there any method to defend my base from the rail bean?

Great, my base is burnt out. Everyone died, so how do I revenge? Where's their base or is there any storyline?

my peeps... you can very easily open the incident defs folder in the mod and edit the bombing event yourself. theres min points before first, min days before first, min refire days, and a chance %
