Has anyone confirmed if it's compatible with 6.0/TA ?

I noticed the same issue as Troubleshooter - Using Freyr from Ship Variation Expansion (modified Asgard), you can barely hear the sound of the engine.

yeah, i didn't think so, just a weird coincedence, i check them in another device and it's the same thing. so it was just odd timing for the headphones to die on me. thanks anyways.

@twisted-pixel all it does is provide overrides for several settings in the games xml files that specify the volume that the engine sounds should be played at. There's nothing in it that should be able to cause that kind of issue.

hey man, i really don't think this mod is the culprit, but i've tried everything else, so i figured i'd ask; right after downloading this mod, and then starting x4, my headphones lost surround sound, it was working seconds before i started up the game, then poof, i couldn't hear voices and some other audio in game, then, even after i left the game, headphones still don't seem to work on everything EXCEPT the windows sounds configurations tests. I assume all you did in your mod was replace an audio file, so i really dont think that's what did it, but i'm grasping at straws here, it's not related right, and it's just a weird coincidence?

I'm not sure if i'm the only one with this dilemma: it seems this mod reduces the commonwealth L/XL engines to a proper level, but it reduces the Terran L/XL engine sounds to the point of not being able to hear them.

wish there was a mod like this that would make M, L, and XL the same volume as Small... M is still too loud at times lol. Great mod though.
