My origin is Fleet Overlords -- its mechanics allows you to play as the Federation Fleet, without owning any planets, habitats, or outposts. Instead, you've gathered the federation by force, pushing the incorporated members to pay taxes and contribute to the fleet.

PS: there is a bug that happens while fighting the fanatic purifiers -- please don't take systems with planets, this will cause an error. I know the issue and will fix it after the end of the vote.

Nice Idea though. I've been waiting for such a mod AND... Do you remember this old 4x-Game frome the 90th? Ascendancy... Such a shame nobody made a sequel. Especcially the species were quite interesting.
