Sikorsky S-64 "Air Crane"

Description
Presenting the Sikorsky S-64
The Sikorsky S-64E, also known as the Erickson Air-Crane, is the helicopter for heavy lifting. The Air-Crane is a versatile and incredibly powerful vehicle, taking the title as the heaviest lifter of them all in the helicopter category.

Usages and Details
This recreation of the legendary S-64 has been made to look as much like the original as possible while giving it the same versatility and robustness as the real life counterpart. All specifications are as close to the original as possible. Powered by a pair of high-power jet turbines, the lifting capabilities of the Air-Crane are just as staggering as the sheer size of the helicopter. The helicopter has also been equipped with four winches with mag-all's for lifting and dropping off containers - something that is made even easier by the built-in camera and easy-to-use systems operated by the co-pilot. Additionally, any ISO standardized containers can be attached to the four connectors on the helicopter easily, either after a container has been lifted up by the winches, or by loading the container manually - the S-64 has been made to work in any situation, no matter the conditions.

As previously mentioned, the Sikorsky S-64 does more than just lifting. Many may actually recognize the big, orange siloutte in the sky from footage of firefighting during the horrific fires in Australia last summer. Being able to lift copious amounts of water and dropping it on unsuspecting fires will result in a smoking pile of charcoal - but no fire. Thanks to its versatile nature, the Erickson Air-Crane could play a major role in fighting off the fires.

good build. has a faulty autohold if you mistakenly use up or down arrows, so that once you turn the autohold off you with shoot off and probably explode, especially in my case. small tweak required?

I might some time in the future if I feel like it, but I haven't really touched helicopters since, well, I made this one and I'm busy with other projects at the moment. I do believe there are some other high quality S-64's out there.

This creation was old a long time ago, so I will not guarantee it working as intended. I'm honestly quite impressed if it works at all ^^

this thing has a seizure if you turn auto pilot on. it seems like some stuff is glitching into other parts and then it does uncontrollable flips and rolls. it all starts with an initial sudden pitch change when the auto pilot turns on.

Successfully lifted an overturned Campbell with it and delivered it. Still works great as a heavy lifter. Just gotta remember slow and steady when flying with an unsecured load, such as a boat. Can't wait to try it out for containers and forest fires!

Seems to work now. Thanks, great model BTW!

Oh boy, this is an old vehicle :D haven't used it myself in like a year. There should be a button in the cockpit to refill the water tank. Drop the refilling hose in the water and press the button and it should refill. There's a small possibility that it doesn't work anymore, though I can't see any specific reason as to why it would stop working.

Hasn't got any tools, but works just fine for V1.0. It does use the AISO standard, so you might struggle with the new containers. I'll probably change that some day come to think of it.
