Description
Three main islands (and a friend), connected by a vector of defined direction and modest magnitude, but also of pain and suffering in the form of blocking the exit. You will see immediately what must be done, but what will it take?

This map was made for Trial by Fire #9 - Immovable, where the challenge was to design a puzzle around a major element (in this case, an orange funnel) pointed at a non-portalable surface (in this case, the exit).

Huge thanks to Teo for playtesting, and good luck.

Edit: Fixed an exploit found by jgaultney, as well as a couple of other problems.
Edit 2: Fixed exploits found by lapicidas.
Edit 3: Fixed exploits found by Bullfrog.
Edit 4: Fixed a trapping situation found by Bullfrog.

Neat puzzle! Quite liked that fun exit condition.

Very much enjoyed it.
I still couldn't figure out what the red tendril-like field purpose is.

I did die a lot, even at the very end, but the gradual progression of the puzzle was so good, that it was deffinitely worth it.
I like how you start next to the open exit; I like the area behind the angled panel; I like how you know what the finel step is from the very beginning, and yet the steps towards that ending are pretty challenging.
Some of the layout decisions were a bit frustrating, because I fell into the goo pit several times because of them, but it's nothing compared to the enjoyement I got out of the chamber. Thumbs up!

Very cool map. I enjoyed it a lot. Some steps felt a little repetitive but there were some really good reuses. Thumbs up.

Why would walking through what looks like deadly laser field be a solution that would come to peoples mind? That's very misleading.

Yep, the way you describe in your spoiler is the way I did it in the first complete walkthrough I sent you a few days ago – I’m also pretty rubbish at that move. I generally do it fine in normal play, but not when recording it – nerves I suppose ;) Anyway; my problem, not yours – great map.
