Description
Description
The Swordfish is an armed shuttle. It have 2 coilguns however only one gunner periscope with a gun selector button. The shuttle is fast and can be used as an escape shuttle or for expeditions in smaller areas where a large submarine cant fit. It can shut down all of its external lighting to allow it to be more stealthy. It also come equipped with a Long Range Radio Transceiver for Sub-to.Sub communication over longer distances so you can have text communication with your main sub while the shuttle is out on a expedition.
To a degree this fast little craft could potentially be used to run even some missions in campaign. How far can you push the Swordfish MK-II in a campaign? Share your progress here!

So I been playing around with the challenge to run this shuttle in the campaign. See what missions it can take on and such. Been trying it out with a friend. Its been a different experience so I decided to leave the shuttle with a "Scout" classification. You can still add it to your ships and you can still use it as your go-to respawn shuttle. Let me know if you are trying it out and share your progress in this thread

I have the V 2.0 completed, I am only atm working on testing it to see if it is up to my expectations. I shall not delete the old original, I will how ever rename it with a "Outdated" prefix to the name. So incase people do not like the V 2.0 they can always go back to the V 1.0, as I have done a lot of texture rework to match the same fidelity my recent subs have.

I've changed the shuttle so the top and bottom hatch are button hatches and as soon as one of them is open, the two doors in the mid section close.
There is also an override lever at those doors to stop the lockdown manually.
This should work with bots.

The waypoints were generated anew and both docking hatches automatically open/close when docking/undocking.

I didn't release the new version seperately and rather integrated it into my ship.

It's not perfect but the best I could do without using single buttons.

Thanks again for your awesome design, I like it even though the sprites are outdated.

I'm using this for my ship. But it seems like bots are having trouble with the hatches. You might want to use "Door with buttons" for both hatches instead of a custom door and seperated buttons.
@Fox: Until this workshop item is changed, I will use an alternate Version of yours, I hope you don't mind. I linked your design in my description to give you credits.

I have a announcement!
I have published two more cargo/transport submarines. One more expensive yet more options and the other cheaper that you can afford with the start budget in the start of the campaign. I have actually had these completed for some time now but I have not felt ready to release them yet due to that I was not happy with their names until now.
