Description
The Type 12 is a simple four person shuttle designed to ferry personnel from the surface of planets to space. It has enough fuel to land and return to orbit easily if thruster override is used, but it of limited use for general atmospheric flight. The shuttle is controlled by either the space or planetary remote control, both of which are linked to the pilot seat toolbar. Two of these shuttles can fit inside the Merchantman's hangar.

Instructions

This ship purposely has little braking thrust. Press 1 in the main spaceflight control seat to execute automated retrobraking. (Launch Mode only)
Switch between Manuevering and Launch Mode using the timer in the remote's toolbar. Manuevering mode activates all small hydrogen thrusters, Launch mode disables braking thrust and activates the launch hydrogen thrusters.
Use the Thruster Override controls to conserve fuel.
The Type 12 can be used to lift the Type 1 Mining Drone when you inevitably over fill it.
